I followed this video over the weekend after I removed my dashboard from my 1984 300TD. The center vacuum pod had a torn diaphragm, which I replaced using your methodology. I tested vacuum on all other pods, and they held strong. I made the executive decision to leave those alone in an effort to avoid the likelihood of breaking 38 year old plastic. Every thing is ok I don’t like vacuum system to complicated air leak between the doors under the hood
I have the vacuum to my doors disconnected.
