Never leave elves alone. Got one player using Marwyn and if left unchecked he often wins/is unstoppable around turn 4 or 5. That tribe is supported way too much.
At 11:28 I believe the reflecting pool enters tapped from the ulvenwald hydra since primal amulet isn’t in play anymore which means retreat to hagra couldn’t be cast that turn. Unless I missed something
Mike's choice to deal 2 damage to Trevor with Bogardan's etb was very odd if not outright sloppy considering it was enough to make him miss out on Scourge of the Throne's extra combat step on the subsequent attack, if I'm not missing something it even lost them the game.
I play a Freyalise elf tribal deck. Is fun to see the panic risen as your 1/1 elfs keep coming and getting bigger at a fast pace. Freyzlise is a surprisingly fast deck, and by turn 8 you can confrably have 16 to 20 mana worth in mana elfs and lands to play with. I'm a very aggressive player, so I like this kind of style, and is good to see this badass, eye-patched commander getting some attention.
Really think Matt shouldn't have blocked in the beginning, Scion is hard enough to cast as is and he was likely to get more value from it staying alive than the one lord trigger no matter how annoying exile is.
Lots of interesting plays and misplays this game. First off, the threat assessment from the right side of the table was all kinds of wack. Matt kept mana open and essentially just skipped turns to keep up a single piece of interaction. While I understand the thought, that is just how you lose games. People have already said it, but the thing with Tomik and the untap land was unfortunate that nobody caught it. Tomik had free attacks at Freyalise for a few turns (notably except the turn where it did attack Freyalise where the hydra could've blocked) and could've stopped or at least delayed the card draw from the ultimate. And finally, the hellkite etb trigger won elves the game. Nothing else to it. Altogether a good, mildy frustrating to watch, yet still interesting game. Keep up the great content!
She's a discard outlet that doesn't cost anything, and she works well to give reanimated creatures haste to swing immediately. Plus she's cheap enough to come out early.
@@MTGMuddstah Any thoughts on Olivia, Mobilized vs Chainer, Nightmare Adept? Chainer seems strictly better aside from slightly higher cmc and probably drawing a bit more hate.
So are you going to upgrade Mistform Ultimus into Orvar since he has the same text cost and power but more? I built your Mistform deck before and it was so much fun but now I upgraded it to Orvar
@@Mtglilypads I didnt assume you do i just wanted to inform you of that muddstah already answered the question. But I think there might be a missunderstanding. I read your first reply as "Dont use twitter!" but i guess you meant"I dont use twitter."
This game was filmed in 2018. The duration of time between a game being filmed and then posted varies based on the game. Tons of factors can lead to new games being pushed out the following week.
I wonder how many of the new elves Trevor will add, but, not gonna lie, I'm tired of how many tribal payoffs elves get. Where are my plant tribal payoffs?
Trevor, even though I expected you to win, you did not deserve it! You are playing elf tribal. THEN PLAY ELVES. That hydra does not belong in there. That Baloth DOES NOT BELONG IN THERE. 10/10 strong deck. 0/10 flavor. Was rooting for the Progenitus player. Better go for 20 fog effects next time :P
Yep. Several attacks went at Freyalise instead of Trevor's life total which, with as much mana as he had, only meant Freya's loyalty was reset every turn.
Two 1 vs 1's until no one is friends anymore haha Irrelevant mistake to point out because I want everyone to know I'm smart /s: Sean's Reflecting Pool would come in tapped
I'm watching your videos for a long time now but I got to say that it gets a little boring with Trevor always playing the same decks that are always way above the powerlevel of the others.. Everytime I see one of his decks or his name on the thumbnail I already now whos going to win.. Maybe he could build some new decks or tune them down a little..
Shout outs to Mike and Matt for conceding the game to Trevor. I hope that slapfight over Lord of the Void was worth it!
Best part of my mondays.
Totally agree
And it's my day off 🎉👌
I remember the before time.
In the long long ago?
The swords to plowshares is such a vengeance’s act!
Thought since it was the trevor show there would be more bicep flexing XD
Mike and Matt going at each other while they forgot Trevor was setting up his field. I love dragons I wish I could have seen more of Matts deck.

Progenitus...now that's a name I haven't heard in along time.
Let’s goooo I’ve been waiting for some Scion of the Ur-Dragon videos I wish more people played him
I'm happy I got to see my personal favorite dragon commander in action! I.e. Lathliss

When PJ does the into, you know its gonna be a good video!

Exactly! He gives up potentially one dragon, so what?
Ooh, different music! I like it.
FINALLY a progenitus deck in action!
Really incorrect form of threat assessment here. But regardless, enjoyable video as always.
Can he target his land with the mono white land hate out? To untap cradle
Nope! He should not have been able to do that if he did
Freyalise is best girl
Tomik should have stopped a lot of things !! But you play and you learn

Very good see a no blue deck winning!
Hi there why Progenitus deck list ain't available?
ah the good ol Before Times
Really liked the Olivia deck, but looking at the decklist I don't really understand why she's the commander. Can anyone explain a bit?
She's a discard outlet that doesn't cost anything, and she works well to give reanimated creatures haste to swing immediately. Plus she's cheap enough to come out early.
@@MTGMuddstah Perfect thank you. I forgot about summoning sickness for reanimated creatures.

How was Trevor able to search uvenwald hydra with fierce empath?
It costs 6. Empath can find 6 or greater.
Any chance we can get the progenitus list?

Holy hell, that woke me up.
Knew the elves were going to win. Evil elves.
I think the giveaway address might be wrong...
Great game, as usual :)
Matt and Mike have clearly never played against elves always crush them first! 😅
Did I miss something? How did he cast prismatic omen with no green mana?
Vesuva, his second land, entered as a copy of forest
I see it now thanks!
Name of the song.
Fun and GG dudes!
Great content
Trevor should have blocked Tomik with his Ulvenwald Hydra which has reach

That tomik could have swung at freyalise two times completely for free and it kinda annoys me tbh

Trevor doesn't win every game featuring him but I do agree that his decks are just typical boring spike/tryhard tier
