Steve this Daiquiri sounds spectacular! I have never had this beauty and I can't wait to try it! This is definitely on the menu tonight for my husband and me! What a fabulous riff! I cannot wait to add Vida Mezcal into this Daiquiri (love Vida!) and I have the recommended Rum! I'm really excited! Hey the ZBiotics Pre-Alcohol Probiotic sound very interesting. I would definitely give this product a try! I drink very responsibly but I like to be absolutely refreshed in the morning and it sounds like a terrific idea! Thanks for the information. I always thought fatigue the morning after a cocktail or two (at most!) was from dehydration from the alcohol. ZBiotics really sounds like a terrific product! I hope you and your family are super well! Terrific video! Cheers!! 🙂

Almost like a smokey Caipirinha.... Hmmm, I wonder what that would be like?
Until then, does this have a name?
    1 oz cognac
    1 oz rye
    1\2 Disaronno
    Stirred to chill, served up
I'm still experimenting with bitters and a couple drops of saline helps.
Unless you can tell me otherwise, I'm calling it a Cajun Godfather... Parrain (pronounced pa-ra)

    • @StevetheBartender_

Whilst it is made with sugar cane juice I’d say it is probably more likened to a molasses style rum… if anything, I’d go 75% rum and 25% rhum agricole (that isn’t overly grassy).

There’s a cool shop in San Francisco that only carries Mezcal and Tequila. From the front door the whole right side of the shop is Mezcal, and the left is Tequila.
There have been recent studies regarding the metabolism of alcohol and Tamarind shell extract, specifically the shell not the whole fruit. It bonds with some of the acetones produced by the liver, that are also actually a lot of what damages the liver, and once that chemical bond occurs the result is just passed out in urine. It also had some restorative effects on the liver, basically bringing the liver back to a healthier state. Not to say “Healthy” but healthier than it was before the extract was introduced. Obviously a lot more research to go but there are very cool prospects on the horizon in modern medicine, especially as more future researchers tend bar during college LOL.
