X is one of the most versatile artists that you can find. he can do melodic rap/trap, rock n roll, rap/trap, pop, acoustic, rock, and even has some Spanish and Jamaican vibe songs. basically anything you can think of he can and has done.
Since your new to X i’ll tell you a little bit of his story. He was a troubled child, his dad was in an out of prison his entire life so he didn’t really have a father figure in his life. His mom had money issues and couldn’t afford a child at the time so she wasn’t really there either, so he lived with his grandma and anywhere else he could. When he was 6 he found his uncle dead, he hung himself. After that everything changed and he was just a sad soul, his heart got broken many times aswell and that’s why his music is the way it is just very touching music on a deep level. You have to fully take the lyrics in to understand him and his music. Songs i’d recommend for a video are: i don’t wanna do this anymore, never, snow, jocelyn flores (a friend who he flew out and killed herself while she was there (he found her awell) Alone part 1, revenge, save me, wingriddenangel, in the end & i spoke to the devil in miami!
you should check out "Snow" by him, its one of his older songs i believe and my personal favorite ❤infinity (888) FT. Joey Bada$$ would be a great one too It's wild how popular and how quickly X got, he'd probably be one of if not the biggest artist rn if he didnt die.
a slipnot is also the knot you would use to.. "hang out" so hes also saying i wont fall ill slip not as in contrast to some of the other more emotional lyrics he won’t comit u know what or fall when a slipknot is tied around his neck.
