It’s just an adapter to communicate with the car. That’s all it is. The tuning software is downloaded to your laptop. No idea why ur panties are in a bunch over an adapter?

I always smile ear to ear seeing how happy Gavin is when something truly exceeds all expectations the way this McLaren has so happy to see it
I know everyone is so jaded seeing 2000hp+ TX2K cars and stuff … but the way this car goes from just cruising at 50mph to being at 80mph+ with a small squeeze of throttle is fucking crazy lol
Supercars are crazy compared to standard cars normally you can literally do bolt ons on super cars and be as fast as built cars with big turbos. The engineering on those cars are the reason they are supercars can’t help but be astonished especially considering the tons of restrictions.

I like the direction this build is taking. Instead of huge power gains you focused on weight reduction, airflow, fueling, and still a good power increase wihout just throwing 2 huge turbo upgrades on it. Nice man

He is focused on big power gains. What weight reduction? Exhaust? These cars are made from the lightest materials possible. You literally can’t do any weight reduction.

BRO...770hp at the CRANK in a 720s is the same power to weight ratio as a Bugatti Veyron base model(Jess mentioned a bugatti level of power last video with this car) ...You just made 771hp AT THE HUBS, and im not even taking into account the lighter piping and exhaust you added!!! Thats just WILD man!!
This at 15% drivetrain loss would be ~886 crank hp... so 3.54lbs per hp even if it still had the stock exhaust and piping weight....vs the Bugatti Veyron 4.15lbs, and stock it was 4.43lbs per hp for a 720s!

Won’t matter what “special” tune Whipple is telling you. The ecu is locked. I don’t see the car getting even 800whp. Don’t mean to sound negative it’s just not possible unless 🐈 delete and octane booster like those guys did to get that “800 hp” number. Just not possible. Check out @YDBT and you will see why. #Amry

Thank god you went with M Engineering. They are the best in the business and customer service is top notch. Get some Toyo R888R’s. And that dynos pretty low. You need revisions. You should be mid 800’s on 93 and E85 mid 900’s.+

That exhaust is sick, one of the best sounding supercar exhausts to my ear. Things got a touch of that formula 1 sound to me. Starting to like that car. Initially I was like another McLaren cool. But that thing is different now. Congrats on staying so humble. Too many big channels don't really come across as real people.
HI Gavin I know you would of talked with Justin and he will let you know when pushing the 720's stock engine hp up on how weak the internals will granade with the pistons, conrods so weak....Alex Gintani has alot of experience on rebuilding the 720 engine's and he will be able to and will actually be engineering billet built engine parts to handle the extra hp when his new shop is fully back online on his UA-cam awhile back ...

Hub dynos are where it’s at Gavin you actually get real numbers definitely shoot bring the stang when you wanna know numbers I’d say they will be better then previous because you are gonna spin on a hub dyno vs on a roller coaster

The 720 is about to turn into a McKaren after all the mods DDE did to the Senna their car had a lot of fault codes and had to remove the unobtainium parts belive he had same issues with his other car I could be wrong but know he had to remove that stuff from the senna . Fingers crossed 🤞 your car doesn’t turn into a McKaren .

You know what's crazy Gavin just wait till the 720s is running 1,000+ hp it's gonna be nutty, A UA-cam channel I watch DailyDrivenExotics has a 1300+ hp 720s, but if your going for a 1,000 hp you might want to get built piston rods because that's a known failpoint on the 720 when trying to push more power that stock.
