Once upon a midnight dreary, a man wanders aimlessly through the foggy thickets of a long forgotten forest. In the distance, a sound. A light. A destination. He soon emerges from betwixt the impenetrable wood to find a manor, age old and stoic. But you see, this is no ordinary manor. As he walks the hallowed path to the front door, the tranquility of the scene calms him, though the vision of the scene haunts him. He faintly rapps the door. Once, then another. But no answer. Yet he feels beckoned inside, and like the captain lured into destruction by the siren, he isn't sure he will emerge from the depths that lurk within. But nothing so sinister presents itself, simply a dilapidated welcome desk, still clad with ancient room keys. He rings the bell. No answer. He rings it again, yet the hotel remains still. Unsure what to do, he decides to retire for the night. Picking up a key, he heads toward the hallway, hoping perchance he might find the accompanying room. But on his way, he once again feels an otherworldly compulsion. His eyes unnaturally shift to a grand piano adorning the lobby. Unlike the rest of the room covered in dust and grime from an eternity of rest, the piano shimmers like new. No longer the captain of his own soul, he swiftly takes a seat, and his fingers begin to dance upon the keys. Never having played piano, he is shocked at the beautiful melody that emerges. He cries and wails within himself, wanting nothing but respite from this scene. But as he continues to play, his cares, worries, and consciousness begin to fade. His last fleeting thought before being overcome is the peace he finds within himself at the sound of his haven of Tranquil Ambience. After what seems like an eternity, he wakes from his haze. The weariness he had experienced through his travels had vanished without a trace, and he knew his purpose at the hotel had been completed. Taking one final look at his otherworldly stage, he walks the way from whence he came. Within a moment he turns around, longing for but another minute at that piano. But behind him he finds nothing but the vast and empty forest. Was it a dream? An otherworldly vision of peace? He needed to know.
