This is a beautiful song. One of those tracks that stirs something deep inside...it's like a dream I had last night. A surreal, objective observation from a period in my life that's meant to hurt but it doesn't. Just calmly observing, mindful of the pain but i've got a lingering relief because I know I'm not in that place anymore :)

I had a dream that a menacing Philip Seymour Hoffman and I were in a group of friends and he kept trying to kick me out of the group. It was set in a small city and I wanted one of the girls in the group and kept trying to run away with her but to no avail.
The first time I heard this song was in summer school PE class before entering high school. A friend let me listen to her iPod (1st iPod ever) and I fell in love with this song. This was in 2006 i believe.
One of their very best.

I love how everyone thinks this song is beautiful but it’s just about rough sex with someone you don’t care about at all
It's not the rough sex that makes it beautiful, it's that feeling when you have to hurt someone...not because you want to, but because you have to for whatever reason
Could this be a narcissist’s love letter? He don’t feel anything though acknowledges the beauty of the other. “Is something wrong?” can signal the end of the love bombing phase where the other person feels the shut off and shut out. “Moving together in darkness” contrasted by the “Silver Lake/California Sun” in his face tells me he moved fast yet again with someone, though feigning feelings is on him as a personality flaw. The other person allowed themselves to swept up in a whirlwind romance that was doomed from the start if the partner’s unable to feel anything real.

that no seatbelt song is a really good song but other then that not much to offer honestly, besides child grooming, and thats not a good thing lol
