Petra Poet I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in the trilogy I didn't like the second as much and then never finished the third I think you should start reading them and see how you feel about them
***** I think you should definitely read the first one. I loved it when I first read it a couple years ago. But the other two were not nearly as good to me which is annoying as I liked the first and it kind of ruined it... :/
Same I feel like all his books are the same thing, it gets redundant. I think he has a really unique writing style, so I think he's a good author, I just can't read all of his books it gets repetitive
I heard this comment so many times and I didn't actually realize it until I read paper towns and an abundance of Katherine's back to back. I'll probably still read his books because that's just me but it is a little boring
hunger games yeah I think he peaked at TFIOS! He should write more from the perspective of a girl. I think that brings out the best of his creativeness. All his other books are like the secret fantasies of a nerdy teenager who kNOWS deep down that the popular girl really belongs with him because he is the only one who understands her SOUL.
hunger games I've been reading John Green lately and I'm really getting annoyed at the whole "I've found the answer to the world" moment that the main characters have. Paper Towns was fun at first but then when he was like "You're not the Margo I know, everything I know was a lie" it just got very annoying and I just zoned out.
I love his writing but the plots are just so typical. TBH ( dont hate me ) i find tfios so cliche so yeah i wont be reading his books anymore too. BUT john green is very good at writing so i hope he can create a more diverse plot and characters :-)
I really, really love Peeta from the Hunger Games, but I seem to be in the minority, which makes me sad. Peeta is smart, compassionate and kind, and that makes him perfect to balance out Katniss' angry and damaged character. Plus he doesn't, you know, drop bombs on people.
I get your opinions about Sirius Black and Snape. The reason why I love Sirius is because the storyline shows he has a really big heart. He could have been developed into an amazing character. Also: he was lost in grief (who wouldn't be when you spent 12 years in Azkaban?), so I get the projection of Harry being his dad. But on the other hand, the way he acted is a little on the childish side sometimes. I liked Lupin way more :D
I totally agree with you. About Snape, I think he did that on purpose(being mean to Harry) because he has to do his 'part' being a follower of the Dark Lord. I mean he fooled everyone.
Snape didn't like harry because he saw the love of his life's (Lily) eyes in Harry and it made him sad everytime he saw Harry and he didn't like Neville because if Voldemort didn't choose Harry and he choose Neville Lily never would have died.
I think it's great that this tag is going around because here on booktube unpopular opinions seem to be a bit controversial, even though I actually quite enjoy watching people talk about their unpopular opinions xD
Every time I watch this tag I'm so freaking nervous that people are gonna hate on the books I love! I don't know, I just feel personally offended when someone doesn't like what I like. (I know, it's bad.)
I loved the Hunger Games books, but I thought the films were such a massive improvement on them. Especially the last book. I remember reading the last book and being bored, especially when she was trapped in District 13, but in the films, they managed to capture that feeling of anxiety and claustrophobia while she waits so perfectly. That part of the story came across as a little dull in the books.
My unpopular opinion is that I'm not a fan of John Green the writer, but John Green the man seems to be a really nice fellow...sigh...I just can't get into his books since all his characters seem to be more verbose than they really need to be. HOWEVER, that's just my opinion.
I think I'm the only one who didn't like Katniss from the Hunger Games. I just found her so annoying because she didn't want to work with anyone and seemed to only care about herself. Don't hate me please.
I hate her too! She comes off like she all this and that to me (I've only watched the movies; the books are horribly written.). I mean Petta is just trying to Survive by getting sponsors and when he says he has a crush on Katniss, she goes ape shit then pretends to like him to get him help. And also it doesn't help that Hunger Games rips of Battle Royale; I mean it really does, just watch the Battle Royale movie and see how many scenes were ripped off.
I seriously can't believe you did my tag!!! :D I know a bunch of ppl have but my fav. Thing about your channel is your opinions and analysis of books in general so I'm pretty hype! Lol I had the same answer about the Hunger games movies as well. They really did a great job bringing that story to life on the big screen. great video :-)
YOUR HAIR IS SO ON POINT Great video! I'm also struggling with the Divergent series. I have Allegiant, but i don't feel like reading the trilogy anymore. On the other hand, i found some of your summer recommendations reeeeeeeeeeeeally good. Thanks!
i love this tag! It brings up a lot of counter-popular things that i often thought i was the only one thinking. it breaks a little with that mainstream opinions and is fun to watch.
The same exact thing happened when I watched the Hunger Games movie. While reading I didn't understand why Katniss like Peeta. He was a fine character, but I only saw him through her warped perspective. During the second film it just clicked for me. I totally got it. I've never had a movie build on my bookish experience like that. I'm glad you mentioned this, and glad that it's happened to someone else! :)
I think you should DEFINITELY finish the legend series, but in a "quick" way. Read the last two books in succession and (if you really want to enjoy it) the first book as well. Basically, just marathon the series. That is what I did and i loved the series. By the end of Champion, I was in tears. I get why people dislike it though. If the books are read months away from eachother you loose interest in the characters, and are not as interested in getting through some slow pieces. Honestly the whole time I was caught up in Day's badass (if sometimes extremely emotional) character and June's love for him. My final opinion is that you should definitely read it, but marathon it! :D
That’s what I thought about the Legend trilogy too. You just have to marathon it and get into the world. Because I binge read the series and got so attached to these characters, the ending of Champion just killed me. But yeah I definitely recommend it
I love watching these unpopular opinions tags even if I don't agree with what is being said; it's cool to just listen to what people honestly think on a book or subject and seeing other's different thoughts towards something :)
okay I know we all have our opinions but if you get to season 5 of Game Of Thrones and still don´t want to read the books then...I will be kind of disappointed because tbh the tv show started to suck since season 3, then season 4 was way worse, and then came season 5 aka a living hell for the book readers. It´s not even because "the show is not like the books so that´s why it sucks". The show sucks by its own lol. So many ooc moments, a lot of unneccesary violence towards women. And before people come at me with "the book shows violence towards women": DEPICTION DOES NOT EQUAL ENDORSEMENT. The show is trash as of right now. The first two seasons were almost perfect, then the third one had some good moments, and I know only-show watchers LOOOVED the fourth season, (if you had read the books then trust me you wouldn´t love the season so much), but I know that even only-show watchers hated this past season. So of course it´s your choice at the end of the day, and maybe reading the books doesn´t excite you a lot, but if you are a little bit interested in the story, then you should read them, at least before watching season 5 because if you watch it first you are going to hate Dorne (one of the best storylines from the books), you are going to watch a main character getting raped who didn´t get raped in the books (for the sake of shock value...D&D literally said that), you are going to miss some epic plot lines that happened in the books, you are going to feel kind of a void because of the mess that season 5 was. There´s no context, no themes, no organic plot twists, everything is made for shock value. George R.R. Martin and his books deserve better.
Vicky Reads Amen! I agree 100%. I have literally been saying the exact same thing and I WILL NOT watch season 6. It is my favourite book series of all time, especially Dance with Dragons, and the show has butchered them!
Vicky Reads Couldn't agree more! So many final moments fell flat and didn't make sense! Like Dany, in the tv show her flying off on the dragon makes 0 sense. And Jon's death in the show had no reasoning beside Ollie giving him looks all season. Even tyrion's storyline was shit and he seems to be everyones favourite! Im so sad they didn't put in Young griff because that was one of my favourite story lines. They turned arya into an annoying nosy kid instead of being actually dedicated to the house of black and white. Sansa's rape became more about Reek than her. Cersei especially completely lost everything that makes her crazy (like that scene in the books when she burnt down one of the towers in the Red Keep) and Jamie as well, the characters were just so watered down. Can't think of one single character who was written well.
I'm so glad you did this tag, it was super fun to hear your answers to these. And the hunger games movies are just so fucking fantastic. I am in love with the books but even I have to say that the movies come really close to the greatness of the books.
OH MY GOD I was so happy to hear your opinions on game of thrones because I literally feel exactly the same and I've only ever heard people praise the books, but yeah I think you're 100% right with what you said
continue reading Legend!! i had the same feelings like it was getting boring and then exciting and then boring again, but oh my gosh... alot of shit goes down that story while you go to book 3. and it made me cry so much so i hope you still read it!! 😊😊😊
When i read the first book of Game of Thrones it took SO long for me to get into... but once into the second book I got used to it and his writing began to grow on me. Also, his writing can be really poetic at times, which I completely enjoy. Excited to hear you will continue :)
I can get what you said about GRRM's writing style, its definitely not for everyone, BUT the characters he writes are on another level compared to what D&D (the screenwriters and producers of the show) will ever be able to do! (the only exception being margaery tyrell) especially what they did this season with Cersei, Jamie, Ellaria, the sand snakes, and the plot lines of Dany, Jon and Sansa were just …no
Hannah Galloon Totally right. On the other hand I can see the point Regan makes about given importance to things that seem irrelevant, I was there a few times myself, the thing is that the more you get into the books you see that all that is building up to something, sometimes it can take hundreds or even thousands of pages to finally pay off and that is NOT for everyone, but I find it amazing, the foreshadowing, the little hints here and there you miss, and eventually the revelation or event that puts it all together! I am actually re reading the first book and I can notice these things easily now and is mind blowing. The guy is a genius.
Hannah Galloon SPOILERS Jamie randomly raping Cersei, and in turn undoing ALL of his character development with Brienne was the worst idea I think D&D have implanted into the entire show. I mean, Stannis' daughter was - horrible, to say the least, but that action kinda fit in with who he is in the show. Jaimie actions just felt forced, like they thought nothing controversial had happened for a while.
Storylines I'm reading the books for the first time after watching the show, and I remember getting tingles after Cersei said to Ned "It's a miracle that a man like you should still have his head" or something like that.
I actually no joke gasped loudly and fell out of my chair when you said you didn't like Legend... Those books are my soul!!!!!!!! How could you...................
You should definitely continue with Legend! The second book, surprisingly, was even more gripping than the first, which is really rare in a trilogy. I totally agree with your Hunger Games opinion! Seeing the setting and action brought to the screen was more exhilarating than on paper, although the books were great as well.
I absolutely agree with you about Sirius Black and Snape. I have had the exact same thoughts. I not only have a problem with how Sirius treats Harry but I am always really disturbed by how he treats Kreecher. Also, I feel like he has so many of the bad qualities that are often associated Gryffindors. (And I am a Gryffindor!) I also agree with you about Divergent. I couldn't even finish the first one. Your videos are awesome. My sister introduced your channel to me a few days ago and I can't stop watching your videos! :)
Seriously so many of your ideas in this video are so spot on! I agree with the whole author wrote it in cannon and the books you are least likely to grab!!
Unpopular book opinion: I do not like Cassandra Clare's books. They're just very flat and not interesting and its really annoying how every booktuber acts like they're the best books ever when they are just very.. not good.
I like reading them because they have a good plot and they're kind of funny but I just feel like they're wrapped in a bow and everyone gets a happy ending and I just question it all the time. Like Simon got a happy ending, Magnus and Alec too, Will and Jem both got to be with Tessa,... I just mean that it left me asking myself if it's possible for everyone to stay alive and sane
I thought that there were utter trash, which really disappointed me because so many people recommend them to me, and they were the kind of genre I normally like. Unfortunately you could see the "plot twists" coming a mile away & the characters were one detentional stereotypes. They were just trying way too hard. Furthermore it just felt to me at least like the world was made up of cherry picking from other more popular book series. Muggles became Mundanes for example. It kind of felt like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Twilight and The Starwars "I am your Father" moment had a baby, And they tried to have an abortion, but the disfigured remains lived on in this book
I thought they were great when i was like 13 and i still think theyre fun but they make me cringe. I recently reread them but skipped past the crap bits (like the unneeded relationship drama)
It's interesting that you mention Orson Scott Card and the controversy surrounding his personal behaviour... Have you ever done a video about something along those lines? Like, separating the author from their work? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on that!
I totally agree about got! I originally read the first 2 or 3 books but eventually I found it repetitive and I found it difficult to keep track of the varying story lines when I had to keep everything in my head if that makes sense haha.
for the hunger games i like the movies better too! i basically feel the same as you do. i thought i was the only one! i absolutely adored the Legend trilogy and i think you should definitely continue on with it
Haha you are SO right about Gale, I felt exactly the same way! Although I never really liked Peter for Katniss either... I really want to film this tag soon:D
This is my favorite series, I felt the same way about champion but it does get wayyy better. I read the last book right as it was released and I still think about the ending.
I agree with you about Legend. I was starting to think I was the only one who didn't really enjoy it. Also I definitely see what you mean about Game of Thrones!!
Yay! So excited! I have never seen someone who shares my opinion about the Hunger Games. I really liked the books when they first came out, and I thought that they were really good and interesting, but i never really got attached to the characters, and while i liked the plot i felt that it could have been done better. i just dont love the writing style. but then the movies came out and it just filled in all the spots that the books were missing. I felt way more attached, and everything really came to life on screen. I definitely like the movies better than the books.
I 100% agree about the Hunger Games with you! At first I didn't like the first movie but after these last two and thinking back on the books these characters and the world seems a little more attachable..
I know people are going to hate me but I just dont see why everyone likes the mortal instruments series so much? I loved the Infernal devices but the I just cant get through the mortal instruments. Maybe I should try harder? I dont know :p
Nah, I read TID before as well, you have to understand that the first three books are older so she's less experienced, just try and plough through them, then the fourth one is where you connect with the writing more, as it's more up to date and then I tend to find you really enjoy the fifth and sixth, (plus the sixth has basically a whole epilogue dedicated to TID fans) then after that read the bane chronicles and shadowhunter academy ( if you haven't already) as it has a lot of extra stuff for TID fans as well, THEN you will be up to date, ready for the show in January 2016, which could, if successful, involve TID plotline and characters.
I read the first four books of TMI and I'm gonna be honest, the only reason I even started reading the series was because I found out Robert Sheehan (whom I love haha) was gonna be in the movie. I sort of enjoyed the first three books, although sometimes it was a bit... too much. Like there were times when I was literally facepalming during certain parts. The fourth book though. It was terrible. It took me TWO MONTHS to get through it. And also, I hate Clary (honestly can't fucking stand her). So I have this love/hate relationship with the series but for me, the fourth book was absolutely unnecessary and I'm (probably) not gonna be finishing the series.
How on earth could you not like the series? TRY IT 1 more time and if you still don't like it...no hate Leprachaun we're all entitled to our own opinions. In fact I still haven't gotten to the Infernal devices so yeah😅😂
Evlachaun TheLeprachaun I'm with you, *hated* TMI series. The possible sibling factor as a love just completely gross. the writing was non-engaging and the characters should've been dead with the incredibly stupid decisions they made. I DNF the 3rd book and ended up selling the entire series.
Evlachaun TheLeprachaun The first 3 books of The Mortal Instruments were okay for me. But the last 3 were just, no, just no. I could only take so much of Clary saying how badly she wanted to suck face with Jace.
I serieusly just saw one random video of you (protein bars). And I am watching You're video's for 2 houd now! I love your video's!!❤️ Your Fan from The Netherland/Greece❤️
Hey Reagan! I've read Divergent and Legend Series and I like Legend more than Divergent. In first chapters of Legend its kinda slow but if you continue to read half of the book you'll found yourself flipping pages by pages without noticing. I really hope you'll read the Legend Series, it's really worth the read. 😊😊😊
I completely agree with you on number 3 and the Hunger Games part for number 9. I also am not interested in reading Divergent any more, but I’m still going to read it because I own all the books so ya. 😅
When you said you disliked two beloved characters from HP I was really really (REALLY) scared you would say Remus. There was no going back from that to me, I love him so much. Though he did make some mistakes *ahem*leavingyourtobebornson*ahem* (Yes I agree with your perspective on Snape)
I almost screamed when you said divergent I'm gonna be really cliché here but it gets so much better in the next books and soooooooooo much deeper with the characters and story line
OMG yes I felt the same about the Ruby red trilogy... everybody seemed to love it but I just found it kinda boring and like you said the main character was weird...
I absolutely agree with you about The Hunger Games. The books and movies compliment each other so well. I enjoyed the books much more when I saw the movies
I loved your unpopular opinions, they are very similar to mine hahahah especially about the Divergent trilogy. My sister is reading and I have, like, NO INTEREST in reading the books. Also, when you talked about the characters everyone loves and you don't -btw I like Sirius but I also agree 100% with your view- I didn't seem to find anyone but then later in the video you were talking about the Hunger Games and it hit me: Gale! HAHAHAHA I really don't like him, since the very beginning. I think this is the first time I comment here hahaha but well, nice video! Best, x
Definitely read the Legend trilogy! That trilogy got me back into reading and sparked something back up inside me. Legend is good, but Prodigy is fantastic. And although Champion can get a little dry at times, the ending is spectacular! I highly recommend you keep going. They're fast reads and you can breeze through them in no time anyway, so if you don't like them you're not out a ton. Although I think disliking them is really hard. :)
Gurlll you are so good at discussions!? ahaha I have a pet hate for people who say 'This wasnt a good book/This was terribly written' etc instead of 'this book didnt appeal to me/i found the writing terrible/didnt appeal to me' etc --you still get your point and opinion across but you dont sound all arrogant and and as if your opinion is a fact! I wish more people spoke like this about their opinions! Super video though, really enjoyed it and was like 'hell yes! to like 90% of your opinions totally agreed with majority of these and have been saying this to people for ages hahaha XD
God Snape, the fandom has tuned in to some saintlike marter even though it is very clear he is not, even as a kid. He openly mocked Petunia, hurled insults back at James, acted like a total dick to Lilly then got angry when she cut off their friendship, joined the deatheaters with no hesitation, only left them because they thretend to kill lily, only protected Harry in her honor, showed clear favortism while teaching, held onto a grudge for twenty years and bullied children to the point that was the thing one of them was most afraid of. Yes his loyalty and the power of his love and bravery are great thing but fangirls' hero-worship of him as this great tragic marter saint angel who can do no wrong isnt fair to the incredibly nuanced and complexharater Rowling wrote by tuning him into another dooged nice guy trope.
I think you should really continue with Legend. Its honestly one of my favourite YA dystopians. It also has a solid ending, which is hard to come by in a lot of YA trilogies.
You should just listen to the audiobook of A Song of Ice and Fire by Roy Dotrice. Its sooo much faster than reading the books. There is so much more in the books than in the show. The show is literally just a highlight reel of the main stories.
Totally agree with you on the Hunger Games. The movies and books complete each other SO well. I loved the books before the movies came out, too, and was completely riveted by them but there's no denying that they're not consistently very well written and that can get frustrating sometimes.
LOVE the Legend trilogy! It's great to see the story through the eyes of the two main characters. To see how different their lives are and how they actually see the world from their status in the world they live in. I liked the Maze Runner Trilogy in theory - I like the first book...the second one, The Scorch Trials, started to get tedious and by the time I got to The Death Cure I was so over it.
I agreed with EVERYTHING you said (especially THG stuff) but the Divergent series is my favorite series of all time, so I don't get that. I think it's more Tris that is important to me than the actual series though
I don't agree with you on the Game of Thrones - topic, but I do understand what you mean. It takes me forever to read the books, but I do really enjoy it!
I almost wish I could go back and unread the Divergent trilogy.
Kristina Horner You just put my all feelings into a sentence. Sans the almost.
Kristina Horner I think it's good to read at least the first book in a popular trilogy, just so you know what everyone is talking about.
Same here :D
I also won't be reading anymore John Green books since I feel like it's very cliché-y.
Same I feel like all his books are the same thing, it gets redundant. I think he has a really unique writing style, so I think he's a good author, I just can't read all of his books it gets repetitive

You should do YA vs Adult novels. Explaining the differences and how you feel about them.
thestaceofspade Oh, good idea!
What is YA?
I really, really love Peeta from the Hunger Games, but I seem to be in the minority, which makes me sad. Peeta is smart, compassionate and kind, and that makes him perfect to balance out Katniss' angry and damaged character. Plus he doesn't, you know, drop bombs on people.
Agreed
I get your opinions about Sirius Black and Snape.
The reason why I love Sirius is because the storyline shows he has a really big heart. He could have been developed into an amazing character. Also: he was lost in grief (who wouldn't be when you spent 12 years in Azkaban?), so I get the projection of Harry being his dad. I totally agree with you. About Snape, I think he did that on purpose(being mean to Harry) because he has to do his 'part' being a follower of the Dark Lord. I mean he fooled everyone.
Hannan Lomondot But Snape was quite mean to Neville and Hermonie as well.
Snape didn't like harry because he saw the love of his life's (Lily) eyes in Harry and it made him sad everytime he saw Harry and he didn't like Neville because if Voldemort didn't choose Harry and he choose Neville Lily never would have died.
Cathrine Fradenburg What about Hermione and the rest of griffendor
I think it's great that this tag is going around because here on booktube unpopular opinions seem to be a bit controversial, even though I actually quite enjoy watching people talk about their unpopular opinions xD

Amen to you on the Snape issue, I never got that!
My unpopular opinion is that I'm not a fan of John Green the writer, but John Green the man seems to be a really nice fellow...sigh...I just can't get into his books since all his characters seem to be more verbose than they really need to be. HOWEVER, that's just my opinion.
the young, the broke, & the bookish try reading An Abundance of Katherines, out of all of his books it has the most un-verbose characters
Same here! I did not enjoy TFIOS at all.
+Mariann OL Same! The Fault in Our Stars was so over the top and pretentious.
That's a big reason I like his books, how the characters are described from the view point of the protagonist.
I so agree with the fanfiction thing! I can't accept anything the author hasn't confirmed or written themselves.
I liked Sirius in the movies but I saw a lot of flaws in him while reading the books.
yeah I don't like fanfiction the goes against canon like Snape and lily or hermione and harry, but I LOVE other fanfics!
that is until you read the Grisha trilogy and your main girl ends up with an asshole named Mal
Then she acts bitchy in the second movie because another girl pretends things like she did in the first movie. Also, why the hell would anyone want to date her? Shehas PDSD and is crazy to a point; she needs help, not love to abuse them. And also it doesn't help that Hunger Games rips of Battle Royale; I mean it really does, just watch the Battle Royale movie and see how many scenes were ripped off.
I didn't like her either I felt she was a bit too needy and annoying
Omg no, i find Katniss so annoying too!
finally , I found some other people who didn't like Katniss , I was so annoyed by her at times , and I just didn't like her at all tbh
i didnt like her too! this was why i preferred the movies hihi
THE LEGEND TRILOGYYY IS SOOO GOOOOD YOU HAVE TO FINISH IT :D
Ughhh Snape, don't get me started.
YOUR HAIR IS SO ON POINT
Great video! I'm also struggling with the Divergent series. I have Allegiant, but i don't feel like reading the trilogy anymore. On the other hand, i found some of your summer recommendations reeeeeeeeeeeeally good. Thanks!
YES! I've been waiting for you to do this tag for so long :3
i love this tag! It brings up a lot of counter-popular things that i often thought i was the only one thinking. it breaks a little with that mainstream opinions and is fun to watch.
The same exact thing happened when I watched the Hunger Games movie. While reading I didn't understand why Katniss like Peeta. I've never had a movie build on my bookish experience like that. I'm glad you mentioned this, and glad that it's happened to someone else! :)
i hate snape! he's so abusive and awful towards his students, like he was neville's worst fear??? that's terrifying omg
My final opinion is that you should definitely read it, but marathon it! :D
random427613 I totally agree! :D I think the emotions are totally worth some slower bits, but best read quickly/marathoned for the full effect
Yea for sure you have to finish the whole series.
random427613 Yes, totally agree! I was definitely crying when Champion ended.
That’s what I thought about the Legend trilogy too. You just have to marathon it and get into the world. Because I binge read the series and got so attached to these characters, the ending of Champion just killed me. But yeah I definitely recommend it
Yes! I've been waiting for you to do this tag
I love watching these unpopular opinions tags even if I don't agree with what is being said; it's cool to just listen to what people honestly think on a book or subject and seeing other's different thoughts towards something :)
LEGEND IS SO FREAKING WORTH IT
LEGEND ❤️😍😍 you really need to give the series an opportunity pls! It is really worth it
Yessss legend is one of the best trilogies I have read, it gets better as it goes!!! It's soooo worth it!!!
I completely agree with what you think about Snape!
Regarding the Legend trilogy Prodigy is soooooo much better than Legend I would have to say it's definitely worth going forward with the series.
Eeek I went to your link and am so excited by the bargains on this site! Thanks!
okay I know we all have our opinions but if you get to season 5 of Game Of Thrones and still don´t want to read the books then...I will be kind of disappointed because tbh the tv show started to suck since season 3, then season 4 was way worse, and then came season 5 aka a living hell for the book readers.
Same! The fifth season was disgusting. I'm tempted to stop watching completely, ugh. :/
+Vicky Reads Interesting, the 4th and 5th seasons are actually my favorite.
Vicky Palami It's worth watching the show for Battle of the Bastards alone tbh
I'm so glad you did this tag, it was super fun to hear your answers to these. And the hunger games movies are just so fucking fantastic. I am in love with the books but even I have to say that the movies come really close to the greatness of the books.
OH MY GOD I was so happy to hear your opinions on game of thrones because I literally feel exactly the same and I've only ever heard people praise the books, but yeah I think you're 100% right with what you said
I definitely agree that the hunger games movies add something that just enhances the series to another level! They're so well done!
continue reading Legend!! i had the same feelings like it was getting boring and then exciting and then boring again, but oh my gosh... alot of shit goes down that story while you go to book 3. and it made me cry so much so i hope you still read it!!
(the only exception being margaery tyrell) especially what they did this season with Cersei, Jamie, Ellaria, the sand snakes, and the plot lines of Dany, Jon and Sansa were just …no
Hannah Galloon praise
Hannah Galloon Totally right. On the other hand I can see the point Regan makes about given importance to things that seem irrelevant, I was there a few times myself, the thing is that the more you get into the books you see that all that is building up to something, sometimes it can take hundreds or even thousands of pages to finally pay off and that is NOT for everyone, but I find it amazing, the foreshadowing, the little hints here and there you miss, and eventually the revelation or event that puts it all together! I am actually re reading the first book and I can notice these things easily now and is mind blowing. The guy is a genius.
***** Yeah the planning he puts into them is phenomenal!
Hannah Galloon
SPOILERS
Jamie randomly raping Cersei, and in turn undoing ALL of his character development with Brienne was the worst idea I think D&D have implanted into the entire show.
YES YOU SHOULD CONTINUE
YES, I so agree with you on The Hunger Games (that will be my answer if I ever get around to filming this tag)
YAAAASSS you finally started watching GoT!! SO PROUD. 👏🏻👏🏻
(And I am a Gryffindor!)
I also agree with you about Divergent. I couldn't even finish the first one. Your videos are awesome. My sister introduced your channel to me a few days ago and I can't stop watching your videos! :)
LEGEND IS WORTH IT
True
Yes. Yes it truly is.
LEGEND IS MY BAE AND IS SOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!
Yup. Best dystopian trilogy I've ever read.
THANK YOU SO MUCH I NEED SOMEONE TO UNDERSTAND THEIR BEAUTY
Seriously so many of your ideas in this video are so spot on! I agree with the whole author wrote it in cannon and the books you are least likely to grab!!
I love how you stated your opinion but still refrained to be mean or condescending. Your attitude is great!
It kind of felt like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Twilight and The Starwars "I am your Father" moment had a baby, And they tried to have an abortion, but the disfigured remains lived on in this book
leonora And that's fine cause it's there opinion and this is yours
I thought they were great when i was like 13 and i still think theyre fun but they make me cringe. I recently reread them but skipped past the crap bits (like the unneeded relationship drama)
It's interesting that you mention Orson Scott Card and the controversy surrounding his personal behaviour... Have you ever done a video about something along those lines? Like, separating the author from their work? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on that!
I think you should continue the Legend trilogy! :)
I love Pathfinder too! I'm almost done with the first book and it's so good!
Yes, read Legend! One of my all time favorite books.
Literally looking at the poster behind you right in front of me. It's like Inception!
I totally agree about got! I originally read the first 2 or 3 books but eventually I found it repetitive and I found it difficult to keep track of the varying story lines when I had to keep everything in my head if that makes sense haha.
for the hunger games i like the movies better too! i basically feel the same as you do. i thought i was the only one! i absolutely adored the Legend trilogy and i think you should definitely continue on with it
I love Ruby Red omggg :))) ..but it's okay ..people have diffrent opinions
I loved Legend, and a lot of people liked the second book better than the third. You should definitely continue!
Haha you are SO right about Gale, I felt exactly the same way! Although I never really liked Peter for Katniss either... I really want to film this tag soon:D
I got half way through Champion by Marie Lu last month, and I had to put it down because it was soooo boring! It was putting me into a slump.
#SAME
gracewithabookinherface That's how I felt but then the ending just messed me up. I cried in the middle of class.
***** Exactly! So everyone who felt the same way, I'm tellin you guys you're missing out on an awesome book. It gets better towards the end.
Haha I just read the last 1/4 of the book... Oops.
I love your video's!!❤️
Your Fan from The Netherland/Greece❤️
This video was great! loved it! 💟
Complete legend please! It's amazing
Hey Reagan! I've read Divergent and Legend Series and I like Legend more than Divergent. In first chapters of Legend its kinda slow but if you continue to read half of the book you'll found yourself flipping pages by pages without noticing. I really hope you'll read the Legend Series, it's really worth the read. 😊😊😊
I agree with you about "The Hunger Games"! I also think I enjoyed the "If I Stay" movie a bit more than the book
Puff and Fluff His mistake wasn't a big one tho since he fixed it and he went back. I love him too!
i like Divergent, Insurgent is okay but I couldn't get myself into Allegiant somehow.
The Legend Trilogy is my BAE!! I really love book two (it's actually my fave book ever, but that's just me) and I really recommend you to read it! :)
I almost screamed when you said divergent I'm gonna be really cliché here but it gets so much better in the next books and soooooooooo much deeper with the characters and story line
omg i love rubinrot & etc; it's so much fun!!
I absolutely loved the Legend trilogy, so in my opinion, you should definitely carry on with them!
Make a video talking about your trip throughout europe!!!
I love your videos!
Best,
x
You should definitely continue on with the Legend trilogy; it's one of my all time favourite series.
I loved the Legend trilogy! But I am a teen so that might play into my preferences but great video!
You should DEFINITELY continue with the Legend series, the first two books were okay but once you get to Champion it gets AMAZING!!!
I don't like George R. R. Martin's writing style either **high five**
I totally agree with you about the Hunger Games love triangle! Exactly how I felt about it!
I completely agree with you on game of thrones!
I LOVE the pathfinder series as well! I was so disappointed when other people said that they didn't enjoy it.
Currently reading GOT (as Finnish translation) and I'm really liking it
LOVE the Legend trilogy!
Wow I totally agree with you about the Hunger Games!! :D :D
YES THE LEGEND TRILOGY IS SO WORTH FINISHING!!
You: Game of Thrones
Me: Craaaaaazy!!
Snape looks like an adult person, but inside he still is the shy guy angry with the bully
I don't agree with you on the Game of Thrones - topic, but I do understand what you mean. It takes me forever to read the books, but I do really enjoy it!
If you like sciencey books then yess continue with legend! Its for sure my fav series!
I completely agree with you about Snape! Awesome video!! I just did this tag on my channel too :D
