It could mean he was wrong or made a mistake? It would make it not a lie, but also not true. I'm not saying I believe him, because I don't, but that's how I interpret that part. Still, awful thing to say out loud in court. 😆 🤣

Call it what you want, and never mind that he hid behind his hands and hung his head like an egg-sucking polecat almost the entire time during the police interrogation. Body language that, in my opinion, screams lies and guilt. All I see is an idiotic, lying narcissist with shifty, beady eyes, an ugly face and a venomous snake's tongue, darting in and out of his gash of a mouth, lying through his teeth on the witness stand. The hair stupidly combed over his forehead does not help. This man would not impress me if I knew him. His little Napoleon complex proves nothing, except his many inadequacies.

Windshield professional here. Looking at the accident photos isnt it pecuilar how no other part of the car has so much as a dent? No other glass was damaged? To do that kind of damage to a windshield you need to be going at a very high rate of speed. People fly through a windshield at 70 mph. I didnt catch if they mentioned speeds but that looks like a pretty pedestrian road.. maybe they were going 40? Your not going to create a hole in the windshield with your skull hitting it at that rate. Best case it will be cracking. But the damage to the windshield doesnt fit the lack of damage to the rest of the car. Nor is it consistent with her injuries. She would have glass embedded in her face and countless contusions from it

As someone who was married to an abuser who manipulated others (flying monkeys) to think I was the 'bad guy' by his appearing feeble and mild mannered, I know the hell she went through. All the continual lying, controlling, stalking, gaslighting, turning her family/friends against her, a completely sweet woman, knowing no one will believe you that he abused and gaslit her continually...she was living a nightmare even before this day. The internal narrative of a control freak is so incredibly different from reality, it’s absolutely amazing. My dad never let my mom out of his reach until he was too sick from untreated diabetes (he was afraid of doctors) to go with her everywhere she went. Once he couldn’t go, my sister, his programmed spy, had to go with her everywhere. It was irritating then, but now as an adult who has a normal relationship it’s just flat out insane.

Yeah...at first, I was like "awe, it sounds like my marriage". We are both very introverted and spend almost all of our time with each other and do pretty much everything together. However, when he said he would call her or text her during every single break and after work, I was like "yeahhh....never mind". I only text my husband when I need to know something or call him when it's an emergency and vice versa. When we are at work or one of us is out doing something like grocery shopping, we hardly text each other. I'll see him at home, so no need to blow each others phones up with nonsense. There are couples who do spend all their time together and have a normal functioning relationship, however, when you are constantly texting/calling to "check in" or "see how they are" non stop...that borders control and codependency and is creepy af. Plus, most couples, like myself, who do spend almost all their time together still have moments throughout the day where they are doing their own thing at home. Like, he'll play video games and I'll cook or watch TV on my own. It doesn't seem like that was happening with their marriage. It seems like she had zero time to herself. He seems like the kind of guy who will constantly ask "do you still love me" or "are you going to divorce me".

Now, when I see any signs of this behaviour, I run in the opposite direction. I need my space. If what I can give isn't enough, than they're free to go. I don't care that mutch for a relationship. And that's why he killed her when she didn't want to be his anymore. His little airy voice and calm demeanor don't fool me for a second into thinking he's harmless. Leave us to Raise (Our) Glass(es) & Drink A Toast to the unnamed cousin who both stood up for her & roasted those stuffed tailor's dummies that incredibly "supported" the ludicrous lies this whining cretin spewed out. Of course this happening up in "nys" meant that the lowest of the lowest "1st-degree INTENTIONAL" murder penalty not only was a mere CRUMB of justice but that the denuded stick of "parole" went along with it. I would not care if, with all of those backstabbers she called a family including her mama's ghost alongside, it appeared on its "prison prayer" worn knees expressing so-called ReMorse for what it did - which would be nothing but more lies - that should not overcome the HAC ["heinous atrocious & cruel"] actions of this MURDER the LSOS committed. It should though by that idiotic 30-year "minimum" have croaked its way onto the 1-way southbound East Hell Express, whence on arrival it will be cast into a fiery cell eternally taking a scorched length of pipe up its inwards, whereupon we'll have yet another occasion to raise them glasses & drink many a toast - both to the miserable end of a miserable inhuman being & the memory of a lady who deserved FAR better than what she got.

I feel awful for Barb. The only reason they were married for 25 years was because he probably wouldn't let her leave.
It's okay to be apart from one another in relationships, folks! It makes you appreciate the time together even more, and we all need breaks every now and then. He didn't have to call her EVERY BREAK.

Thank you for including the domestic abuse hotline information at the end of your videos. Even if victims aren't the ones watching them, maybe some of your viewers will be able to pass the information along to those who might need it.
And to those who do need it or need to pass it along, please read and believe this! Please pass this along if you know someone who needs it (I know it's lengthy, but it's important):
Getting away from an abuser is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. Staying away is, arguably, even harder. That sweet-talking that reminds you of when things were good and those empty promises that they swear they'll keep can be sooo enticing. And you love them. You know you shouldn't, and you swear they love you, and they're just "stressed", and "it's probably _your_ fault for provoking them", and "the kids/pets miss them" (if you have them). That's what you tell yourself anyway. But control is not love. Gaslighting is not love. Threats are not love. If they constantly go through your phone, accuse you of cheating, make excuses for why you can't see/speak to your family or friends, if they keep you stranded with no money and no transportation or ability to interact with people, especially people you love, that is not love! If you have to account for every minute of your time, talk to them on every break, whether you feel like it or not, and you have no choice but to spend every waking moment they're not working or fulfilling other obligations with them, you are being controlled! Your romantic partner should not be treating you like a grounded child, or a child in general. The meaningless "I'm sorry"'s and promises to "never do it again" and those little -gifts- bribes to make up for their mistreatment are and never will be anything more than bandaids. You DO NOT have to live this way! I'll say it again: YOU. DO. NOT. HAVE. TO. LIVE. THIS. WAY!! There is help! There are people who care about you! Use the hotline! Call your neighbor! Call your friend! Call your family member! You are not weak! You are not worthless! You are loved! And valued! And intelligent! And you are strong! Don't "stay for the kids"! Growing up with 2 parents in an abusive home is NOT better than growing up in a single parent home where they are safe, you are safe, and they are loved! And if the abuse isn't physical, don't be of the "other people have it worse" mindset! Your life and your struggle are not LESS than anyone else's! Mental, emotional, and psychological abuse can be just as damaging! Do what you need to do for YOU! You can thrive the way you were always meant to if you can just take that first step! I know it's not easy but you deserve to be happy! The help is there. Take the step. Make the call. Send the text. Do what you've gotta do for YOU and let them worry about themselves for a change. We don't want you to be another statistic; another sad story on the news; another case for our favorite true crime channels. Don't let anybody put you in the ground before you've had your time to shine. You are worthy of happiness and love and we are here for you. 💚

You can't be raised in a home with an abuser and not become a victim or at the very least they would witness some sort of behavior.... It's really weird and I'm fascinated with this case after hearing it. There is no doubt this guy beat his wife to death. The motive is baffling though. It doesn't make sense. The only person who knows what happened isn't saying anything besides his ridiculous and impossible cover story, no matter what. This is the third video I've watched trying to understand this video. There is no doubt he is lying when he says a lot of things, but I can tell he's telling the truth when it comes to his relationship with his wife. I'm wondering if maybe she told him she was going to leave him and he snapped. Or maybe she had an affair. But I would think the other man would have come forward to bring justice to his murdered lover, you know... It's too bad we will probably not ever get the answer. Maybe in 30 years when he is up for parole he will finally tell the truth. (Another video mentioned that would likely be a condition of his parole). I probably won't be around by then and I will definitely have lost interest and forgotten about it by then 😆

@@QuinnieMae you can’t argue with people on UA-cam. They act like they understand everyone tiny detail of all these crimes. Quite disgusting how much victims and people dealing with tragedy are judged here.

Why doesn't this channel have millions of subscribers? As far as I'm concerned, this is the finest crime channel on UA-cam. Perfectly narrated and obviously much research is put into each episode.

How could the family be so blind. Or maybe they really believe his pipe story, if that's the case then they're just stupid. I hate to be like that but it just pissed me off😕

Oh god. This is how my brother in law acts towards my sister. They do everything together when she's not working. If she visits me its brief, and he calls at least twice. But he always calls. Always...

You know what, I really believed Todd was innocent at the beginning of this trial and I wanted him to be innocent. THIS MAN KILLED HIS WIFE.

Oh my gosh, all the information in this is pretty wtf, but to hear her family was on his side, that really annoyed me for some reason. Good on her cousin for supporting her and calling out the horrible family who supported him.

I absolutely adore your voice, your content, your channel, and your random moments of wit and humor. Your voice is calm and comforting. But most of all, I respect the shit outta you for putting up the resource information at the end for victims seeking help. You are doing God's work. THANK YOU!

Apparently Todd never hit puberty with that voice! I don’t see how any woman could find him attractive. Did Barbara take pity on him? She deserved so much better.
