Yarn requirements.
(Use your preferred yarn) I used Mika from wollidu.de weight 2/3
yarn, 49% acrylic and 51% cotton, 50g and 165m per skein. You can use any weight 2 or another yarn weight. I used 2 skeins of white, half a skein for brown, pink, yellow and orange for XS/S you may need more depending on your length and size preference.
Materials 3.0 mm hook size (use hook size recommended by your yarn), yarn needle,
scissors, stitch marker and tape measure.

Do you really need to do the single crochet row or can you do it without? Love your designs!!❤
You can do away with it but it won’t look exactly like this, the colors would be too close especially on the short stitches
Could this be done with size 4 weight yarn? I don't have anything lighter then that. I'm curious if it would fall the same on the body

How do you make sure the second panel doesn’t come out on the wrong side? Do it start with the last color of the first panel???? 27:28
So we should make a chain length from the back to the front to where we want it to sit at ?
Yes, keep in mind it can get a little shorter than the original chain. That’s why I prefer to do row one and cut excess chain.

idk what i did wrong but i did the first rows of my first color, but the first row of the second color somehow ends with 3 treble crochet instead of just 2. i’ve counted everything again and again and nothing seems wrong. will it mess up the pattern if i just keep the 3 treble stitches at the end? if i would mess it up, how do i fix it 😭
Something is wrong somewhere, you can only have 3 trebles if you had 3 sc in the first row. It’s 2sc at start and end. I think you should start over again to figure out where you made a mistake. Your number of stitches on each row should be a multiple of 14. so if your stitches don’t total up to that, then there’s a missing or extra stitch.

You lost me on the 3rd row. The 2nd row ended with 2 single crochets. Why did you start with 2 triples?
Because the shortest stitches become the tallest on the next row and vice versa
