It's getting better, but Axial completely lost me when they released the 10-3. I bought an Ecto, for my new class 2 build, and have built my new class 3 with Vanquish under a G-speed with a TGH trans. I'll keep my 24's, but I won't be buying anymore 10 scale from them. Not a totally bad looking truck. Kinda looks like a cross between a Toyota and Ford Ranger. In honesty, I'd put a 2300 Fusion in it with the stock gearing and dial-in the pinion gear. Other than that, I'm a huge fan of 2-speeds. Nice vid as always Joe. Hope you have an awesome weekend.
Looks like it has much better manners on the rocks now than before. I'm a fan of the Axe system as well so I know what you're saying about the minimum rpm start-up, that slight bump forward when you first pull the trigger. The Magnum brushed motor is the smoothest thing that I've personally experienced. Everything else about the Axe system is top shelf though.

Personally, I like how you set the truck up for rock crawling more than how its offered from the factory. I can only find one Axial transmission gear set and that is the part you reference and link to. However, that is the exact gear set that came stock in my Base Camp. I am missing something but I can’t figure what it is. Can you give me some more info on the gear set. Thanks for the great vids I really enjoy them.
Ok so it wasn’t explained very well in the video but… You’ll need to order the transmission gears he listed. Once you get them you’ll see that there are two of the double gears in the bag. You use the larger of the two gears and move the gear post that’s in the transmission second from the top over one hole to the right. Looks like they planned for different gearing to be used in this. Hope that helps.

Change out the ring and pinion gears in the axles to get even more slower or faster
For hill climb its perfect just like a real truck just enough power atleast it spins and fast enough i find cool to watch!!!
Would like to see my castle 🏰 3800kv motor on that gears ⚙
man the control atleast doubled now all u need is a lil over drive and maybe a 9t pinion

What lipo were you using for the gear reduction test?
The treal 60% overdrive gears don't fit the back portals. I underestimated the stupidly large size of that top gear when I got them
Wouldn't a Holmes 550 13T or 15T Crawlmaster Sport have done the same for considerably less $$$?
