Mrs. Delci, I would like to thank you indeed for your great simplified way to teaching and helping goat keepers the valuable information you gave. May Allah bless you and your good family. Amen
I love to learn and that is what excites me when I see you post a video! I know I’m gonna learn something. I also refer back to your website and videos frequently to refresh my memory. You are greatly appreciated, Delci!! I encourage everyone to check out your goat binder also as it is a treasure trove of information.
Haha! Milking like it's the extension of my arm! lol So glad we got to spend some time together even when I didn't know it! Love how these platforms connect us even though we probably wouldn't ever meet in person!
Thank you for this video! I personally vaccinate my goats for CD and T but this year one of my does got a reaction to the Clostridium that made a weird lump on her skin, my vet said this is pretty normal so that is something to keep in mind!
Its very normal 🙂 as your vet said... Thats why people opt to give CD&T shots behind the elbow or on the neck, because those lumps can form. My question is, did it ever go away?
Great information! I am going to vaccinate my new babies on day 7 and their mothers as they were not vaccinated by their previous owner. Thanks so much! Blessings!
Great content! THANK YOU! I know this an older video but I have done a bit of audio work in my past and it sounds to me like your mic you were using was receiving too much input, thus causing some compression to kick in. That's what is making that "distorted-ish" sound randomly. Maybe talk quieter or put the mic farther away from your mouth and see if it clears up. Just a tidbit of advice to help the videos sound smoother. Thank you again! I know making videos is hard work and you do a great job at it!!!
Hello! I have a question regarding the Goat Management Binder. Does the binder contain information about when to vaccinate or deworm the goats, like a schedule to follow? Thank you! And thank you for the informative videos!
Miranda bowden Not really only because you never should worm your whole herd on a schedule. That is how worms become resistant to the wormers we use. It’s best to regularly check your goats poop for worms and then worm only the ones who need it. As far as vaccinating, many times you vaccinate 4 weeks before a goat is due, so that would make it hard to have a set schedule just because it depends on when the goats are bred. But it does have all the dosage information and when the best time to give the vaccines and the boosters as relating to pregnancy etc.
I’ve had 2 doelings die this past kidding season, 1 of which was today. Unfortunately, they don’t know the cause, but my gut is telling me some sort of bloating… have you ever lost a baby to these diseases? If so, what did it look like?
@@DelcifromALifeofHeritage Yes yes yes. Thank you Delci, this ☝️ comment had actually been posted before you responded to my email. Thank you maam and God bless your home.

Perfect! Thank you so much.
Can I give my does this vaccine when they are still nursing their kids? The kids are 2 weeks old. Or should I wait until they are weaned?
Hi
You said you use a 20gauge needle but how long?
I’ve had 2 doelings die this past kidding season, 1 of which was today. Unfortunately, they don’t know the cause, but my gut is telling me some sort of bloating… have you ever lost a baby to these diseases? If so, what did it look like?

We had a dog get tetanus. The vet treated him early enough to survive, but he was never the same. I think he had brain damage from the tetanus.
Why is Delci never respond to any of my COMMENTS on all her videos that I have watched so far???? Well hope you are good though. Regards
I think I responded to your email 😊

Do you make butter and cheese from the milk? If so would love to see a video of it..

I’ll put it on the list to record! 😊
