Great video!! All the stuff I've learned over the past three years )) I drove my 2011 F-150 down from the States towing a box trailer, but I hired a local guy that everyone knows to come with me. He told me to bring a notarized bill of sale for $3000 us, which they actually honored at the border because they knew the guy I was with. I bought a used Mazda here, which was a salvage vehicle from the States.....nothing but problems. I came to the same conclusion as you.....when shopping for a vehicle, I will go spend a couple weeks up North and find a good used vehicle with a clean VIN. Even if you don't want to drive through Mexico, you can ship it from Texas for $1500 us. The exception is the "third world" trucks they have down here, which I think are way cool. Isuzu and Toyota. You can't get a HiLux in the US. And delivery here to the dealers has been messed up since covid. Russ J in Sarawee
Exactly, wish I could have been able to get my hands on some of the vehicles down here back in the states. So many old but cool trucks on the roads here. Thanks for watching.

The Belize Govt has programs that allow for you to import vehicles, house hold goods and other items at no charge. It’s a retirement program and I believe there is an age requirement you have to meet. That program will save you money I think.
I'm not sure about the RV import. It's probably just as expensive though. You would have to look that up on the website but that is a great question though I will have to look that up myself. 😁
Thanks for the video brother I’m in Chicago I got a 2018 Toyota rav 4 trd , can you kindly let me know if I drive it from Chicago to Belize, wouid I pay any fees in the border of Mexico and when I get in Belize do these fees apply for driving my vehicle? Thank you brother and be safe .
@@Isaiah-er1ot Hi, you will have to pay a TIP (Temporary Import Permit) when going through Mexico But they return that money when you exit Mexico it was a couple hundred dollars. Once you get into Belize You can get a 6 month TIP on your vehicle but at some point you will have to pay the import duties to keep the car in Belize. If it's a 6 cylinder plan on paying about 74% of what the vehicle blue book price is worth. If we can help answer any questions just email us. Thanks for watching and commenting. Information is power...😁
That's crazy... although from what we've seen I might prefer a good stolen car as apposed to the rebuilt messed up cars from the salvage yard that are all lopsided that they sell here and act like they have never been in an accident... lol 😆 jk I wouldn't want either
I have a side-by-side and thinking about bringing it when we move to secret beach. What would you suggest? It's a Polaris. Would that be considered to be like a golf cart?
I don't think any vehicles except golf carts are allowed in San pedro, secret beach. And I just saw something the other day about that are not giving out any more permits for carts right now either because there are so many. I would check with the city council in San Pedro just to make sure... Now inland a side by side would be awesome, so many cool areas to ride and explore.
@@WhereToNexxt I will check when I get down there. My realtor told me it was a good choice. I did see a couple of small vehicles on the island, but I hope they look at my Polaris like a golf Cart. It's nothing fancy, just the basic model. Looking at your chart I'm wondering how it would be classified as?
@@eyesrod1649 ya I'm not really sure to be honest. Seems like everything is changing here on the daily.
