I see a lot of suggestions to make 5 reverse gears. To add to that install a seat/steering wheel facing backwards so you essentially have a "normal" car with 5 forward gears but with rear wheel steering.

Zet bij een auto met voorwielaandrijving de achterbanden op plankjes (of dergelijke) en zet de handrem er op, kan je super simpel bochten driften bij lage snelheid. Simpel en leuk om te proberen

This time you should tow/pull the car with another car, put in reverse before they start to pull you and at like 130km/h relase the clutch. I bet that machine will explode :D KUT!

Valt hij of dood of heeft geen power, de motor heeft dan zoveel tegen druk dat zn meeste kracht gaat zitten in het weg persen van de gassen

Theoretically you just have to somehow reverse the gearbox's output.
Will you be able to drive over 100km/h backwards?
bonus points: make the steering wheel steer the rear wheels for easier steering
Use a 2 stroke Trabant 601. You can swap the spark plugs, then push the car in backwards, and there you go. 4 gears in reverse.

To be fair, Mr. Bean's mini has right hand drive, which makes the throttle system a lot easier to implement.

Just floor it with hand break or stuck wheels, push and come off of clutch many times, or hold it half way.
