Other than preferring the ones that *don't* have the body stocking that's only meant as the horror that is *censorship* , I'm not sure *which* form of Ushiwakamaru I *prefer* per se; but I *do* like the underboob bikini armor design.
It was also interesting to know that Ushiwakamaru and Minomoto-no-Yoshitsune are the same person, just under different names.
PS: I know and understand why you aren't gonna join my Discord server, but would it be alright if I at least DMd you the *rules* for it? Reading them should make it clear *why* I left, and maybe you can apply that part of them to make *your* server more pleasant to be part of.
Babylonia is such as fucking masterpiece. They really gave us that dopamine explosion with their characterization of Ushiwakamaru. Even Benkei, who appeared barely in the anime was absolutely amazing! OMG, chills and tears after watching their deaths again!
My favorite story about Yoshitsune's retainers (outside of Benkei) is how Satou Tadanobu impersonated Yoshitsune when Yoritomo had send troops to dispatch of Yoshitsune. It just makes me smile that someone else would don Yoshitsune's armor, defeat 20 pursuers, escape to Heian-kyo/Kyoto and there be found in hiding while in the middle of a game of go start to valiantly fight using the go-board as weapon before committing seppuku when the situation seems like there is no escape. I wonder if somewhere in the Fate material that tale gets referenced (similar to how the Lady-Murasaki Valentine event had Gawain mentioning the Gawain and the Green Knight tale).

@@otakudaikun Kind of? This story is from the Genpei Jōsuiki, a 48 volumes long retelling of the Genpei War. What most consider the Heike Monogatari is the 1371 version called the Kakuichibon Heike
Monogatari which supposedly was dictated by a performer who sang the lyrics (Kataribonkei ). The group of text about teh Genpei War are also known sometimes as variants of the Heike Monogatari. The Genpei Jōsuiki is a related text that was meant to be read, not performed and added more details. It is likely younger since the oldest surviving versions/mentions of it are from the 1550s. It added a lot more details and was also quite popular. I remember said episode about Satou Tadanobu so well because I remember that I was quite impressed with an early Edo period folding screen depicting that scene (and quite a few other scenes with Benkei and Nasu no Yoichi) I saw at a museum this December.

Probably for the same reason Knights are called Sir.

Those are not surnames. They are titles. In this case titles given to prominent women. S9 whenever you see a historical Japanese name with Gozen at the end just know they have no surname.
@@madambutterfly1997 In the Heian Period women of the upper class were generally reluctant to give their names. That is why we know the famous authors as Murasaki Shikibu ("Violet of the Ministry of Ceremonials" - with violet being probably both an allusion to her father rank in the color system of the court as well as her family being the Fujiwra clan she belonged to since the violet Wisteria plant is called fuji in Japanese) and Sei Shonagon (lesser councilor of state of the Sei (alternate reading kiyo as in Kiyohara, her family name). We only have hints about their true names (Fujiwara no Takako/Fujiwara no Kaoruko and Kiyohara no Nagiko) because women with their respective position in court at the relevant time with these names are mentioned in personal diaries.
And in middle republican Rome women were even less well off with names, given that they only had their clans' name as a given name and used nicknames like "the elder" (maior) or "the third" (tertia) to differentiate between the many many women of the same name from the same clan. (e.g. women of the Caesar branch of the Iulii family might be known as "Iulia major", "Iulia minor" "Iulia Tertia", "Iulia postuma" etc..)
Its a title. Like how we call knights "Sir", or "lord"
So that is why Kiichi Hogen's linea are the way they are.

Ideally yes. I originally set out to do all the servants, but that will only last so long as people stay interested and the views are good.

In a nutshell:
Kiichi Hogen fucks everything up at Chaldea with her Fortune Mallet (I know who's going to be the first wave to be ORT's cannon fodder because her attitude. Her personality rubs me the wrong way. Not to mention, STILL held a grudge against Ushi years ago. Bitch, let it go already!)
Ushiwakamaru becomes the cosmic punching bag of Fate Grand Order. (Seriously, corrupted by Tiamat, raised as an unfeeling killing machine, betrayed by her own brother, possessed by Kagekiyo.)
And Kagekiyo gets pissed that she keeps dying to Genji mains in Overwatch.
Side note: Yeah, Little Big Tengu is my least favourite event if you can't tell.
I like Teng event, but honestly Kiichi got on my nerve, ironically despite being my only SR assassin I haven't had any uses for her
also true, she even claim she's gonna stick around to punish Ushi despite whatever punishment already having been dealt, I will mark the genji trait on her and send Taira no Kagekiyo on her ass
@YEP Like Kiichi is still mad about Ushi flirting with her daughter and abandoning her training. YET, when asked about her likes and dislikes, she says she likes nothing and hates nothing.
THE ONLY REDEEMING FACTOR is this event ACTUALLY made me like Jason more. So congratulations, Jason. Your still an annoying ass but at least your not insufferable.
Plus the whole body swapping thing, with Jeanne Alters, Medea, islander, Medusa and Waver's age being reverted sounds like something out of Deviantart.
@@mercenarygundam1487 Actually, Ushi did not abandon her training, her training was complete. The “grudge” (and yes, in quotation marks because it ain’t even one) has to do with the fact she stole forbidden techniques from the gods that the Tengu guarded for centuries. Plus it is less of a grudge and more of a parent seeking to punish a kid for breaking a rule.

@@mercenarygundam1487 No, she is neither good nor evil. Plus you’d have to be clairvoyant to realize that an evil wraith has been tied to Ushi like glue ever since her death. Only reason we, the player, know is because we read Heian-Kyo first.

Yesterday I finished the Waver Sherlock Holmes Velvet anime. It was very good but I was confused by the lack of information from important somethings like Gray past.
The anime was weird but good.
I watched your videos talking about the novel and I was very surprised that they decided to jumpo to volume 4. Why they did such a thing?
I honestly don't know. Maybe it's because it dealt with summoning a Heroic Spirit?

@@extremeotakugamer it is also a weirdly paced novel. It takes it’s time and a lot of it is setup. Heck, a lot of what it sets up is explored in the sequel novels, El-Melloi Adventures, not in Case Files.

Do you know how many volumes of the Case Files are translated in english?
@@extremeotakugamer None official as far as I know, but all 9 of the 10 volumes (last I checked the second part of teh arc featured in the Manga [= book 5] was still only partially translated) have fan translations.

My intro is an original composition. There is no more to it. That said, the current version was performed by a UA-camr called GaMetal who makes lots of similar stuff^^

Could the Holy Grail erase EMIYA from the Throne of Heroes? If so, wouldn't it be easier for him to win the war? Heralcels was killed by Gilgamesh, Cú Chulainn could have been killed by killing Kirei because I doubt Archer didn't know who Lancer's master was, despite the Battle Continuation abilitie, he would have disappeared with time. Although Artoria is the hardest to get rid of, because she is with his Master all the time, but if he got rid of Artori right after he killed Caster using, for example, the Gae-Bolg that he has in his UBW she is death. Gilgamesh himself was defeated by Shirou, so I guess with a good attack plan, Archer could surprise and kill him.
Shirou only managed to beat Gilgamesh because the latter wasn’t taking the fight seriously until the very end. By all accounts, a human cannot normally take on a Servant. Any who can are an exception to the rule (like Shirou, but the only thing he has going for him is Unlimited Blade Works, and it would only help him against Gil; he’d be crushed if he went up against any other Servant). Also, with Rin as Saber’s Master, it’s questionable if Archer Emiya would be able to win against her since Rin is a very talented mage, thus allowing Saber to fight at her full strength, unlike with Shirou or Kiritsugu. Sure in the Fate game route, Emiya was able to kill Heracles around 6-7 times, but that was thanks to Unlimited Blade Works. There’s no telling how it would help him against Artoria. Heck, against Lancer it’s practically useless thanks to his Protection from Arrows skill, which protects him from projectiles.
@@darkstorm2579 I'm pretty sure I've described how he could get rid of Lancer and Artoria, as for Gilgamesh it doesn't really matter which one fights, Gilgamesh wouldn't pull Ea out until it's too late. More importantly, I still don't know if the grail can remove Archer from the Throne of Heroes.
@@Nasah-uy6ep Unless Emiya knows of a method to remove himself from the Throne, the Grail can't grant his wish because it's not omniscient. If he was trying to win the Grail War, he might try those tactics, but as to whether or not they would work is debatable. Not to mention that the things you described only happens in the UBW route.
I don't know. The only time I've seen a hero cancel their contract with the planet is Artoria after she no longer wants the grail.
@@darkstorm2579I describe only UBW events because that when Archer is most active to destroy himself. But I admit, I forgot the condition that the user of the Gral must have an idea how to fulfill his wish without the Gral. Now that I think about it, there's a good chance Archer knew about the Grail corruption. Sorry for disturbing.
