I can listen to Javed Saheb forever. His wit, his humour makes his point of view even more relevant in these times of distress for language and ones view point. I read Tarkash when I was in college first year. I am 44 years old now and it remains one of the most impressionable poems in my conscience. Thank you rekhta for making this happen. And thank you Javed Saheb for being there in my lifetime.
If I could have spoken Urdu as fluently as the host did, I would have been happy. I am Bengali and I love my language, but every word of Urdu sounds like poetry! ❤️

+Saeed Ahmed All the grammar and composition of Urdu comes from Sanskrit. If you replace the vocabulary of English language with Urdu and start calling it Uinglish then it won't necessarily become a new language. Urdu is a stolen language. The actual language is Hindustani.

Very true about language and its deterioration; for e.g if you don't have a word in your language, it means you don't have that concept in the society. For example, there's a word "equity" which is different in meaning from equality. Do we have one word in Urdu for equity?
