Yes she did the competition during Hung Up at every show. In Amsterdam there was a bomb threat made before the show by a priest because of the Live to Tell performance, but the man was caught because he called from his own home phone!
What a perfect finale of a phenomenal show. I love the way you celebrated it with your disco ball and golden balloons. 🥰 The tour is just magical, right? I remember getting the DVD back in 2007 after watching one of the first broadcasts on TV. To this day, this tour recording is just one of my favourite live releases ever. What a spectacular experience. Can't imagine how it must've been to experience it live. I saw every tour from 2008 on (except Madame X) and loved them, but I'm so sad I never got THIS experience. I became a fan when she released the Confessions album, but was too young and had no money to see the tour, but still it has a very special place in my heart. Madonna helped me through so many struggles in my life and I will forever be grateful for the joy she brought me during this time. 😊❤😍
Her and her crew crawling on all fours towards the audience is literally iconic. Then her strut down the runway and recreating the album cover… chefs kiss!
Glad you really enjoyed this tour... I left the building with my gold balloon and tears in my eyes....then we Went to a club and it was madonna tunes all night.... 🎉Xx lots of love from the UK 🇬🇧
"I left the building with my gold balloon and tears in my eyes...then we Went to a club and it was madonna tunes all night...." It sounds like you had the perfect Madonna concert experience. All the emotions (and all the fun too!). Sending big hugs and so much love your way! ❤️❤️
Yes, she did the same competition routine at every show, but I was on such a high I can barely remember! This show was pure ecstasy. Standing right in front of the runway was everything, I still can’t believe I was there, but I was… twice! She’s set the bar high for herself with this one, but it’s Madonna, we know she’ll keep surprising us. This show was just perfect and with it, she doesn’t have anything left to prove.
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️ "Yes, she did the same competition routine at every show, but I was on such a high I can barely remember! This show was pure ecstasy." Completely understandable! It probably felt like a dream when it was over. Can't wait to go on the rest of the Madonna journey! Biggest hugs and lots of love to you ❤️
Nothing beats when she's strutting down the catwalk to get to the boombox!! Beyond sexy!!! What a way to end a tour. Confessions goes down as one of if not her very best tour. You just never want this one to end. So many great ones to come❤
I love the fact that you celebrate the end of the tour with Gold balloons!!! 💛 you are so great! 🎉😊 I can't wait to see you start exploring the HARD CANDY era! And of course the Amizing Sticky and Sweet tour!
Yes she did the competition in Boston most likely all the shows. I was a bit disappointed I didn’t get a balloon lol. But you see why this is my favorite concert of hers. Man I wish I had her energy ;) can’t wait for the next reaction.
I love your fun decorations‼️ It's been amazing to watch every episode with your ladies. I'm also a bit of a crazy 😅 fan, and I've seen Madonna live twelve times on five different tours. Hung Up is my personal favorite ending of all the tours I've experienced. When you ladies are to it, I'm looking forward to more reactions. Thank you! ❤❤
omg, the discoball and ballons. I cant believe confessions era is over. Thank you so much for reaction and re-recording everything for us to watch for free. Much love :)
I was there seeing it at the United Center in Chicago.. one thing I remember was the rumble of the horses running before the opening, and seeing her face suddenly appear with the spoken intro... it was truly breathtaking and emotional. Another was the prominence of the cross elevating during Live to Tell.. the arena seemed so dark, and then there was this disco ball cross lighting up the whole place.. and the hard drum beat of that song was so hard and powerful. Also, the cheering when she started to sing Like A Virgin.. the whole audience jumped up and cheered. ❤
A hallmark of her tours is a conceptual theme that strings the segments and the numbers together beautifully throughout the concert like an arc, with a spectacular opening, middle, and a closing where she brings it all in that deliver a lasting impact and memories. This tour captures this magnificently. There’s that moment after crawling with her dancers on their fours, she got up and strutted the cat walk with the grace and swagger of an elite fashion model-evoking the solo dance she performed with Nobody Knows Me in her 2003 RIT-this always gets me! Then there’s the moment she interacts with and whips up her audience to full participation like a master conducting a symphony orchestra-one section at a time, then all together to do loud rhythmic chants of…”Time goes by, so slowly…” with a screen backdrop of clocks with dials rotating so fast that it gave the illusion of counterclockwise movement that seemed to defy time, evoking perhaps the trajectory of her iconic artistry and career. There’s something cryptic in the messaging of this number and its ending that her lyrics evoke:…”I can’t keep on waiting for you…I know that you’re still hesitating…Don’t cry for me, ‘cause I’ll find my way…You’ll wake up one day…But it’ll be too late…”. I take two messaging here: she’s perhaps admonishing people who, after all this time, still haven’t figured her out as an artist and advocate and that time has ran out, but more likely she’s reminding us all how short life is and so little time left to achieve a purposeful, meaningful life. She then mounted to the center of the stage, then she faced the audience as she took a pause, all the music stopped, and she uttered the last line..”I’m tired of waiting for you!!..”….here I’m tempted to add her own words as postscript: “this bird has flown”! Then the backdrop images of clocks exploded with numerals swirling and lost in an eternity of dark space. Then amidst the repeated cheering of the audience, Madonna and her ensemble disappeared from stage, leaving a giant red screen with her hand written final line: Have you Confessed?. Wow!! this was quite dramatic and anticlimactic and it left me with bitter/sweet thoughts, of longing😢 for more, and self-introspection. ❤the balloons, your beautiful, insightful reaction to recap this tour. Thank you 10X for all your time and effort during this leg of this journey.❤😊
Love the decorations! 🎉 how adorable. The energy to this song, especially the intro, is so electric. When it comes on my running play list I feel like I'm flying. Also, I wore this costume to 3 of the 7 celebration tour shows I went to. One of which was in the freezing dead of winter in Chicago. 😂 the dedication I have to this woman is a lifetime (illness) blessing/commitment 😂😂😂❤
The confessions tour reactions have been so so so amazing! Thank you for all the work. It has been hard! I know! And I admire your effort! Thanks darlings! Now I'm wondering.....next step of your/our journey? ❤❤
Yes, the competition happened at all the shows... I was right in front of her when she stopped on the left side of the runway. Such an amazing concert and your reactions helped me relive the entire evening. Thank you! I really enjoyed the format you had to do, a song a day was great.
Loved the FAREWELL video and decoration. --- That "MADONNA LIFT" is insane, isnt It? --- What about her "catwalk" towards the boombox? --- ❤ Cant wait for more 💋
I remember the security coming towards us , telling us to please make some room and step aside a little bit…. I didn’t know why…. And then this dancer coming running down the runway and jumping right in front of us 😳😳😳😳it was insane. Props to the security guy to exactly know where to make space for that dancer 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉it could have gone very wrong 😅🤣🤣
There was a drunken lady stumbling down the aisle at the show I went to. The security couldn't get her out of the way in time, so the dancer had to slow down his running a bit and patted her on the back as he ran by. Too bad, she probably doesn't even remember it!
Love the balloons ladies!! You both are so much fun 🎉🎈🤩 have loved watching the Confessions Tour reactions over the past 12 days. Thanks for making these videos, they bring a lot of joy to people ❤
Thank you! Loved all the reactions for this concert! Moving forward, can't wait for your reaction of her Live Earth Performance - You will LOVE what she does with La Isla Bonita.
I was there for this tour in 2006 in Los Angeles. Amazing! The Confessions Tour was one big dance party....Super excited for your reactions to the Hard Candy era especially The Sticky&Sweet Tour, which I saw at Dodger Stadium 🏟️ in Los Angeles.
This is probably my favorite tours. MDNA and Drowned World as well. I loved of this tour are “Erotica”, “Sorry”, “Music inferno”, “Live to Tell”, “Paradise”. It’s really hard to pick. The whole tour was great.
Omg. I can’t believe it’s over! I want more! That pause at 5:30, I want that on a tshirt! Best moment of the show: beginning, middle, and end!! 😁 Yes, she did the competition at the show I saw. I think Hung Up is your most reviewed Madonna song. I think you’ve done 4 now. There’s still Coachella if you want another 😆 Terrific reaction to Madonna’s best show! (IMO) Thank you for all the work you put in. I know you were put to task here. Have a lovely day! Have you Confessed! 🪩 💞 Also: Have you got a sweet tooth ladies? Would you enjoy some C🍬A🍭N🍬D 🍭Y
Aww, thank you - We've really appreciated your support throughout this journey! ❤️❤️ "That pause at 5:30, I want that on a tshirt!" Right? Isn't that a great shot?! "I think Hung Up is your most reviewed Madonna song. I think you’ve done 4 now. There’s still Coachella if you want another 😆" Wow! Didn't even realize it was 4 times.😂 "Also: Have you got a sweet tooth ladies? Would you enjoy some C🍬A🍭N🍬D 🍭Y" Yes and Yes!!! 😉 Looking forward to it! Have a great evening - Much love to you ❤️
As usual ladies, great reaction. Like Madonna, You two keep topping yourselves. Best dance number for me has to be Music Inferno. The choreography is top notch in that number and M discoed her ass off
Loved being on this whole confessions journey with you both ; and the journey that’s been taken to get up to this point and the further journey to come…. 🥰🎶x
Amazing set with disco ball 🪩 and golden balloons!!! Love it !! It was amazing to have the daily videos , I thinks it’s a good ideia for the next tours !! Congratulations for this amazing journey ❤
Omgawd Ladies! I’m telling you this tour was just amazing brilliant and it was my brothers first Madonna show and he was speechless and told everyone about it and added, nobody does it better and was so excited to go with me to the Sticky & Sweet tour also. Thank you ladies for another wonderful reaction and I loved your words and comments about it.❤️ I could not wait to get this one on dvd and have played it often. Make no mistake about it! Madonna is the Queen of Pop! #MegaMichiganMFan84 #LiveInPhiladelphia for this one. My Best friend Mark from Milwaukee and My middle Brother Tim from Baltimore and me. The tailgating before the show was a show in itself because I have incredible dj mixes of Madonna and people came around us and we were dancing and meeting all kinds of people and never wanted it to end.❤️❤️
In the music video for Hung Up, in the beginning when Madonna is dancing in the dance studio was inspired by the scene in the movie Saturday Night Fever where Karen Lynn Gorney is practicing in the dance studio 🙂
Thank you so much for watching this concert with us, and also for making it happen! We’ve all seen the struggle to upload these videos. But now you’ve spoiled us! We got used to having a new video each day 😂
I LOVE your disco ball/golden balloons motif! 🩷💞💜🩵💙🟡🪩🤗🪩🟡💙🩵💜💞🩷 I figured you both would love Confessions Tour, so delighted to know i was right in my suspicion. Repeating myself here, I've not seen the Celebration Tour yet, until that happens, her Confessions Tour is my absolute, very, very favorite live concert tour she's ever done. Nothing was wasted, everything was utilized in such a sophisticated/sleek/chic/elegant/progressive way. Such a cohesive transition from concept to execution. Stuart Price's musical arrangements for this tour are just - PERFECTION. Just like you both, I never attended it, I WISH i had. Coulda/Woulda/Shoulda. That's my confession. Sigh....
I guess now you know why this is a fan favorite era, by the way Stuart was the musical director for celebration tour too and the guy who direct this concert (Jonas Akerlund) also direct the celebration tour, the video of this concert won the Grammy for best music film, I know you enjoy this confessions journey and I did too, thank you so much and can’t wait for the hard candy era.
I saw this tour 2 times in LA and 1 in NY. I usually try to get seats left facing stage and to her right. She always seems to go to the right side of the stage more. The first night my seat was very close to the like a virgin and sorry performance. I was very close to her. On the Live to tell we could see ourselves in the mirrors on the cross. My NY seats were floor end of runway. I saw her close up on Let it will be And Like it or not. 2nd night we got a balloon but on way home it flew out of the sunroof. She did the competition on all 3 shows. The second night in LA she did Time Goes By So Slowly a lot longer. How she shows up and lights up the stage is amazing . She always seems very very happy to be there. Her smiles are very genuine and warm. Loved this tour from Reinvention thru the rest of the tours are my favorites they really build along the way. Thank u for the ballon’s. What a fun touch. 🩷💙💜
Aww, thank you for being here with us! ❤️❤️ "I feel anxious every time I see the boys jumping over the stands, because any wrong move, anyone could get in the way, I thought Very dangerous, but it's incredible." With so many people around, it was definitely understandable to feel anxious about it. Looking forward to what's ahead! Big hugs and lots of love ❤️
Hello, the final moment with the competition to who sang the loudest was in every concert, indeed in some stages like the one I saw in Rome he added some verses of That's the way I like it disco song of the 70s
Hi lovely ladies... It's so funny that you mentioned people seeing this tour, and then going to see other artist's tours, and their shows being, kind of, ruined. That has soooo been the case with myself. Following any one of Madonna's tours from Blond Ambition onwards, other artists have replicated many elements that she has used, but those elements then appear watered down to me, and a little lackluster - I guess, because when Madonna presents something, there is always an intention and meaning to it! You just never know how she is going to present herself next - it's utter theatre.
Bonsoir You could not make me more happy! Disco ball, balloons, the moves!!!, your smile, your energy.... a wonderful final! I still have three balloons, from three nights in paris.... i gave the one of the fourth night in the subway to a little boy who asked me politly.... he went to the show and was not under the balloons... it's a cool remember. She did the competition the fourth night in paris! It's not just for dvd. Time goes by so quickly!!! So are you ready for next album and tour???? So let's goooooo 🎉🎉🎉 With kindness from your little frenchy boy❤
Aww, you're so sweet - Thank you for the kindness you always bring to our community here! ❤️❤️ "I still have three balloons, from three nights in paris.... i gave the one of the fourth night in the subway to a little boy who asked me politly.... he went to the show and was not under the balloons... it's a cool remember." That was very kind of you (of course, we're not at all surprised!). Maybe he still has his balloon too! 🎈 And yes, there's still a lot to look forward to on this journey - Can't wait. Much love to you! ❤️
Hi again Emily and Brenda! I haven't told you my story of my Confessions Tour experience. I saw the show in Chicago and Me and my partner at the time had seats on the first row of the first upper section, so pretty good seats. The biggest problem was that the people sitting around us were kind of duds and didn't get into it like we did. But everyone else in the audience was up and dancing and at one point during the show Madonna said that we were her best audience so far "...and I'm not just saying that to kiss your ass," she said, "because you know I don't do that". Before the show started, there were these two well-to-do young ladies sitting behind us from Paris, France who were wearing everything designer brand clothing with their Gucci bags. One of Madonna's security guards for the show knew these 2 girls and was clearly trying to impress them. He came over to talk to them and we could hear the whole conversation. He had a British accent and was pointing out people in the audience that he had his eye on. "You see that man down there? He's older and he's here by himself. Those are the kind of people you have to watch because there are people who want to hurt Madonna". The girls: There are a lot of men here. The guard: most of them are ...ya know... The girls: yeah... we know Lol! They kept complaining about how their seats weren't good enough for them, so this guard brought them some ice cream and later found seats for them that were closer to the stage. No one sitting around us minded seeing them go! Lol One last story. Since this show had so many stages that extended out into the audience, there was one point where I got to be about 8 ft. From Madonna. I think it was during Jump. I was up dancing and singing along, and at one point Madonna made eye contact and smiled at me! Let me tell you, not only was that an experience I'll never forget, but you know how they say that you can tell certain things about people by looking into their eyes? I could tell that Madonna was truly, sincerely appreciative of me in that moment. Don't ever let anyone tell you that Madonna doesn't appreciate her fans because I've seen it in her eyes first hand and will always remember that smile she gave me! Thanks for this trip down memory lane. It's been fun remembering all of this with you, B&E!
Your next stop should be the Live Earth performance! La Isla Bonita & Hung Up performances are superior and better than the Confessions Tour(my humble opinion 😂)
@ the transition between La isla Bonita & Hung up is orgasmic 😂. She dances more on that version, I just can’t believe she did all that wearing those high heels, she was not human! Don’t get me wrong, I love the versions of both songs but if I have to pick a winner, it will be the Live Earth versions.
Would you say this is your favorite tour? And. As a curious fact, “Everybody” was scheduled to close the show, but it is not known why Madonna removed it.
As exciting as it was to watch this on video, we can't imagine how it felt to see this in person. It's so cool that you were able to have that amazing experience (and wonderful that you have such great memories of it to carry with you)! Biggest hugs to you! ❤️❤️
Perfect end to the Confessions era!! With a great presentation from you two!! Looking forward to the next chapter!! ❤❤
Yes she did the competition during Hung Up at every show. In Amsterdam there was a bomb threat made before the show by a priest because of the Live to Tell performance, but the man was caught because he called from his own home phone!
😂😂😂😂
You guys in the Netherlands supposed to be the most advanced people but I think that is a lie 😂😂
What a story! Talk about instant karma! 😂😂 ❤️❤️
Just wait to see the energy in the Sticky & sweet tour xx
Tru dat 💯
What a perfect finale of a phenomenal show. I love the way you celebrated it with your disco ball and golden balloons. 🥰
The tour is just magical, right? I remember getting the DVD back in 2007 after watching one of the first broadcasts on TV. To this day, this tour recording is just one of my favourite live releases ever. What a spectacular experience. Can't imagine how it must've been to experience it live.

The Confessions Era was amazing.
Glad you enjoyed it as much as we did. Now, please check the Live Earth performance! Thank U beautiful ladies!
Her and her crew crawling on all fours towards the audience is literally iconic. Then her strut down the runway and recreating the album cover… chefs kiss!
Yay! I can’t wait for the next era now that the confessions tour is completed! ❤❤❤

It sounds like you had the perfect Madonna concert experience. All the emotions (and all the fun too!). Sending big hugs and so much love your way! ❤️❤️
To finish this era you should watch the making off from the tour. Love your reactions. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷

Completely understandable! It probably felt like a dream when it was over.
Can't wait to go on the rest of the Madonna journey!

very excited for hard candy era reactions now 🎉
Yikes lol jk

Your balloon decorations are brilliant and well thought out ladies. Brilliant reactions throughout this tour as always. ❤

Thank you ladies for another wonderful reaction and I loved your words and comments about it.❤️
I could not wait to get this one on dvd and have played it often.
Make no mistake about it!
Madonna is the Queen of Pop!
#MegaMichiganMFan84
#LiveInPhiladelphia for this one.
You really do meet a lot of fun people at a Madonna concert and her concerts are the most memorable. Her fans are great!
We got used to having a new video each day 😂
Don't forget the "Live Earth 2007" after Confessions Tour pleasee
Oh yes good call!!! 🎉
Another brilliant Madonna era. I’m hoping we go back to the good reviews now that the tour has ended.
I LOVE your disco ball/golden balloons motif!

I figured you both would love
Confessions Tour, so delighted to know
i was right in my suspicion.
Repeating myself here, I've not seen the
Celebration Tour yet, until that happens,
her Confessions Tour is my absolute, very,
very favorite live concert tour she's ever
done.
Nothing was wasted, everything was utilized in such
a sophisticated/sleek/chic/elegant/progressive way.
Such a cohesive transition from concept
to execution. Stuart Price's musical arrangements
for this tour are just - PERFECTION.
Just like you both, I never attended it,
I WISH i had.
I loved the set-up decoration ❤🕺 🎈
at the end of the song after dancing with the boombox, she reproduce the cover of the album
Oh, how kind of you, the balloons, thank you, on behalf of all the fans
Aww, thank you for being here with us! ❤️❤️
"I feel anxious every time I see the boys jumping over the stands, because any wrong move, anyone could get in the way, I thought Very dangerous, but it's incredible."
With so many people around, it was definitely understandable to feel anxious about it.
Looking forward to what's ahead! Big hugs and lots of love ❤️
The boombox will always my favorite scene during this song performance
Haha luv the balloons 🎉❤🎉
Bonsoir
You could not make me more happy!
So let's goooooo 🎉🎉🎉
With kindness from your little frenchy boy❤
Aww, you're so sweet - Thank you for the kindness you always bring to our community here! ❤️❤️
"I still have three balloons, from three nights in paris.... i gave the one of the fourth night in the subway to a little boy who asked me politly.... he went to the show and was not under the balloons... it's a cool remember."
That was very kind of you (of course, we're not at all surprised!). Maybe he still has his balloon too! 🎈
And yes, there's still a lot to look forward to on this journey - Can't wait.
The girls: yeah... we know
Lol!
They kept complaining about how their seats weren't good enough for them, so this guard brought them some ice cream and later found seats for them that were closer to the stage. No one sitting around us minded seeing them go! Lol
One last story.
Oh, one more thing... During Hung Up when the dancers ran into the audience, one of them ran right in front of me and high-fived me!
7 minutes into the video when I finally noticed the disco balloon 🎈 lol
Your next stop should be the Live Earth performance! La Isla Bonita & Hung Up performances are superior and better than the Confessions Tour(my humble opinion 😂)
I love how Hung Up sounds on that performance more than the official tour but I’m not a huge fan of that version of La Isla Bonita
@ the transition between La isla Bonita & Hung up is orgasmic 😂. She dances more on that version, I just can’t believe she did all that wearing those high heels, she was not human! Don’t get me wrong, I love the versions of both songs but if I have to pick a winner, it will be the Live Earth versions.
i still have a gold balloon!!
Foi incrível acompanhar os reacts de vocês estes dias! Façam mais de outras turnês! Vai ser incrível! Bjs❤
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️ We're excited to see the future tours too. Big hugs to you! ❤️
I kind of wished she closed the Celebration Tour with Hung Up
Would you say this is your favorite tour? And. As a curious fact, “Everybody” was scheduled to close the show, but it is not known why Madonna removed it.
Thank God it didn’t.
No, Everybody was going to be in the place of La Isla Bonita and then she thought of Deeper And Deeper but in the end was La Isla.
@@nicocdc5658 That is even worse.
@@vitorriccardo445 I disagree but ok
@@nicocdc5658 Sure, different tastes. But La Isla Bonita is a classsic hit, Everybody isn’t.
Sadly she’s not going to sing anymore with the backing vocals by her side from now 😢 but that’s Madonna , reinventing herself as always !!
I love how you HAVE to do the hand rolls...a bit like when i have to wave bye when you both do...its instinctual haha
😂😂 So true! Biggest hugs to you ❤️❤️
