Both countries have different views on what is okay for kids to watch. I prefer PR side over Sentai, but I will admit, PR had some pretty cool scenes cut from the show

Power Rangers is more nostalgic for young audiences like children, but Super Sentai was more for adults and children because Japan didn't seem to censor things like America.
Why did the PR series have to be unnecessarily dramatic? I remember people made fun of the acting when I was a kid but now that I am grown up I can understand how silly it was. And compared to the Sentai series it didn't have to be so dramatic. The Sentai series seems more fluid and in sequence than the PR series with out all of the over exaggerated drama.
