Actually looks pretty smooth. It has very decent speed and opm. Do you know if there is a difference between the 18 and 20 volt versions? Is your impact 20v? Maybe that's why they don't interchange. Thanks for the video, would be awesome to see another one seeing it do some real world work.
I got one but the vibrations were really bad I had to return it
Hi are you still happy with the polisher? I'm considering one but not much info out there.
Yes happy with it. Sorry not done an update video. If you get one on amazon give it a try and you have till end of jan to send it back if not happy.
@@maximusvr46 great advice, thank you!
Hi wat type of makita battery are you using in the video for the polisher thanks
Hi it's the 18v batteries not sure of the code sorry
Can I charge that makita Battery by sealey Charger? thanks
no unfortunately not, i tried this with mine, thanks
Where did you buy it and how much
Amazon, its on offer at the moment for £162. Link in the description. Cheers!
How can I buy one of these, because it is not yet for sale in the United states
Not sure, unless you tried ebay and got it shipped to the US. The charger is a 240v not 110v. There should be an equivalent in the US i would have thought.
Have you used the polisher on the car? Any good?
No not had chance yet, will be very soon and will do a vid. Thanks! 👍
I've used it a few times on my own cars and it's brilliant. You need 2 or 3 batteries to do the whole car depending on size. Battery lasts for 35 minutes at 3,500 RPM.
@@maximusvr46 do you know if it would work with a 3" backing plate?
What model battery was the matika battery buddy?
Its the 18v 3.0Ah BL1830B
@@maximusvr46 Sir you have saved me a lot of money thanks for the quick reply!
@@pablo123b the polisher battery is 4.0Ah so i dont know how long the makita may last being slightly less
@@maximusvr46 just ordered the 4amp matkia for £17.99 off of ebay will let you know how it goes
@@pablo123b yes keep us posted! Thanks
Loud and annoying
Hey, you haven't made a followup video. Can you make further comment on this machine please. Cheers
I know sorry never got round to it, its good but not a Rupes! Does the job but dont get it if your doing a lot of cars or a business. Its a bit loud but not too bad. You could get it off amazon use it for a bit and return if ur not keen
@MaximusVR46 hey, it's also not a Rupes price tag 😅 I'm just starting out weekend warrior and looking for something not too expensive that'll do the job. Not sure why there aren't reviews to be found, but thanks for getting back to me.
Not sure how much they are now but if your in the UK i could sell u mine if u want to save some more cash
@@maximusvr46 How much you looking to sell for?
