I read through all the comments and a lot of people ask about Bennington so don't worry, that will be one of my next videos. What other towns/topics should I do next?
@@LivinginVermont I have ATV's and a side by side so I want to be up north near them . That's why I'm in eden. Property is directly in the middle of vast trail systems.
I looked up Montpelier after seeing the recent flood on the national news. From watching your video, I learned of the devastating flood that occurred there many years ago
It has been pretty crazy after all the rain we've been getting this summer! I walked down the streets after everyone was ripping out everything destroyed in downtown Montpelier, very wild to see
I will do a video on this in the future, thanks for the idea! In most situations you would own the trees when buying land. I would definitely make sure you knew everything before going into a purchase. I got your text as well, thanks for reaching out!
Hi Jacob I am visiting friends that live in Saint Albans in December from California and thanks to your videos I know what city’s I want to visit. Thanks Kevin
Can you do land purchases I was interested in middlebury but noted Forestry zoning I’ve also noted agricultural which I understand but would like to know what the responsibility of such land usage. Thank you
I do deal with land purchases! The zoning and usage varies from piece to piece... some pieces you can't build on, others you can. I'd be happy to help if you have any pieces of land in mind that you have questions on.
Hi Jacob, you had emailed me back a little while ago ( sorry been busy at work, haven't had time to respond, but will as I'm still searching for potential areas within the state, ) but about future videos, can you do one on Bristol, VT? Keep up the great vids and thanks again!
Ok, thanks for letting me know! Both will definitely be on the future list, possibly sooner rather than later due to their size, location and popularity... I appreciate you commenting and giving feedback!
I'm looking to buy property and build a home. Your Google doc is incredibly long for someone looking at you for their prospective realtor. By question 20 I was like I have know idea who you are lol. Just food for thought.
Hey, I do appreciate the feedback! To be honest I don't think it's that crazy. If you speak to a lender they'll have you fill an even longer form out with deeper personal info before speaking with them. I get that some people see it as a big issue, but really they'd just as soon talk to me for an hour and a half to answer these questions which could've been answered in 10min of filling out a form. It also shows me how serious of a buyer someone is. I don't at all mean it to be impersonal as I'll gladly pickup the phone if you call me, but as I've figured out the hard way, lots of people like taking up time without being serious buyers, and some people who reach out aren't going to buy for several years and this helps me keep people organized on lists rather than hand filling out papers individually. If you have a more efficient solution I'd love to hear it though as I am always trying to improve my systems. 🙂 I likely will try and shorten/compact it from 33 questions though into less questions more combined. I've thought myself it might be intimidating. I'd also love to help you buy property and build a home. But there's a LOT more forms and paperwork you'll have to deal with. 😉 Edit: down from 33 to 25 but practically the same content.
Montpelier is a good foodie town. I had a great pizza at Positive Pie the last time I was there. I won't comment on the local political leanings, but then again, its Vermont. Bellows Falls would be an interesting town to review in a future episode.
Thank you for commenting with your opinion! Positive Pie is very popular. I'll keep Bellows Falls in mind. Might not get to it for a little bit though... VT's pretty small until you take on filming and editing it all... what interests you most about Bellows Falls?

Lowell, Vt?
Lowell is so small and rural I'm not sure I'll ever do a full video on it, maybe a UA-cam short one day... what draws you about Lowell?
@@LivinginVermont the seclusion and privacy.
Interesting, although if that's your only criteria there's a lot more areas in Vermont that fit that as well!
