I didn't know Jeep guys actually go off-road, I assumed most Rubicon's with wheels sticking 2 feet out of each fender\blacked out tail light covers\permanent roof top tent\insanely bright 35$ Amazon LED lights made for a Harley (all Wranglers must have this) just stuck to neighbourhoods (Also 37" Mud Terrain's used only for driving over curbs when leaving Mall to show how kool you are) Great project! Dirt-everyday did some great things with the last one they built.
The jeep cult documentary, a 69 part series totaling a cumulative 420 minutes? I always wanted a little geo tracker, always an exciting time when you post a new video
You would be surprised how well that Geo will do off road. I have one with P235/75R15 Goodyear A/T tires on it. That stupid little rig does so much better in the snow then my 2017 Jeep Renegade and my sons 2015 Jeep Cherokee. They both also have similar A/T tires on them as well.

I subbed for the jetboat then houseboat the your tow rig and now this. You are now officially my new favorite channel. I love the trackers. I have 5 of them my sister has one and my dad has one also.
There was an episode on Power Nation, I think "trucks" was the show...maybe, but that said, they turned one of those into an off road beast with a VW diesel motor and then made it biodiesel as well....might be worth a watch.

I had a hard time watching this video as a dear friend and fellow First Responder died when his Tracker rolled over in a shallow curve on a well-maintained paved road. The posted speed limit was, and still is, 45 MPH. The Trooper who worked the case, was a school trained Accident Reconstructionist, and he calculated my friends speed at the time of his death at 35 MPH. His Tracker was also a 1990 model with just under 10K miles on it.
Totally understood. I can see how this little thing could roll over easier than new rigs. We'll just be using this one for fun on the trails. I wouldn't want to daily drive this thing in Dallas/Fort Worth for sure.
@Motiv8Labs the front half was the good half of a (purple) chevy tracker, the back was the good half of a (red) suzuki sidekick, I can't take all the credit, I was I think the 3rd owner after it had been grafted
My son has a Geo Tracker in 2 wheel drive but its red, super clean with low miles he bought from an old guy that used it to pull behind an RV for years. Anyway, he gets a ton of attention when he drives it. Everyone wants to see it and talk about it it seems like. He is thinking about selling it though as he has too many vehicles and it sits way too much in my yard here in the Murderplex. (DFW) area. You ever watch Coffee Walk here on youtube? Dennis Collins is a Jeep OG.

The Suzuki Samurai is an excellent inexpensive 4x4. The Samurai/Jimny has been very popular in Japan for off roading.
An empty flat bed...and a trailer...
That is a short bed, but the Tracker is, too.
Lift kit, bigger tire and wheels, and should definitely VW TDI swap it. More torque for the trails
the 1.3 suzuki dohc will do. 100 hp in a 1700ish lb vehicle is all you need. I know thats not the torque but i forget how much torque they had.
