You could try clamping a piece of wood on top of what you’re cutting to act as a straight edge/guide to help get a straighter cut

I haven't needed one in a while but I purchased a cover for my shower rod several years ago. They were sold right next to the shower rods at most stores and came in basic colors.

Looks amazing!!!! Here is a tip I got from interior designers.. the shower curtain can be put higher to make your room look bigger. Also helps it not to drag on the floor. Try it and see how it looks.. I love your bathroom.

This was great. I like the "imperfect" terra cotta circle....reminds me of the sun. Also, the extra TP rolls in the bag look fantastic. I hide mine and do not like those TP towers. All together fantastic job!!

@@RebuildingHomeWithJasmineRae you should give it a try. it is a lot of fun. tons of youtube tutorials but I just make up my own patterns. a plant hanger might be a good one to start with some wooden beads. love this makeover so much especially the idea of the shelves in the circle. that's so creative.

For the circle you painted, if you ever want to do it on another wall I suggest buying a masking sheet, drawing the circle on that, cutting it out, then peel and stick the cutout on the wall and then just paint it. Then you can remove the masking, leaving you with a perfect circle. Hope this helps!

Love it - you are so talented. The tp holder is so cute, who would of thought a toilet paper holder would tie a room together...you. How about using a wooden drawer pull anchored into the wall to hang it rather than the “too much drama” hook or boring nail...just a suggestion. 🙂

Contact paper on a curtain rod doesn't always work in the long(er) run when it gets steamy... spraypainted mine gold like the rings & while I was at it, I also painted some nails 🤭 oh, and I usually clamp a piece of wood on top to cut straight lines with a jigsaw 😉 Anyway, my absolute favourite is your terracotta circle!🤩 thanks for sharing!!

Clamp the speed square to the wood and use that as a guide to cut straight
I think I tried this but it has a groove that was blocking my saw from laying flat to cut next to it I think maybe I need a different square?

I really like it. I am motivated to fix my bathroom now. I like how you attached the shelves with the metal angles and how you put a shelf on top of the hooks from Walmart. Bathroom shelves are always so expensive!

Love the macrame on the shower curtain! If you raise the shower curtain to the ceiling it will add height and make the room look bigger. More depth. You have the length of the curtain. Have you considered spray painting the shower rod copper? Consider purchasing a corner shower caddy, it's like a tension rod. Works great . I used one for a house with 4 people with your size bathroom. Much love
The rod belongs to the owner so I can’t paint it. And you’re so right, I tried putting the curtain higher but it blocks the light from coming in and makes it super dark in there (which kinda sucks for shaving and stuff but it did look better) I will look into the corner shower caddy

for the straight cut with a jigsaw, I clamp a guide next where you're cutting, for you it could be a spare piece of wood clamped to the perfect spot so your guard will align straight up to it assuring you a straight cut with on hand materials... thanks for the wall plug tutorial I have ripped soooo many holes in my walls but pulling them out.

❤❤❤❤!! This is so pretty yet simple. My only advice would be you could've hung the shower curtain rod higher to the ceiling. Plus you can spray paint the rod. I'm not mad at the mixed metals though. It still works and is absolutely gorgeous! New here and I subscribed!!

So the hook that came with the tp holder is actually meant for tile. They will work on regular walls, but can peel off the paint.

You could spray paint the curtain rod the color you want and also instead of cutting the shower curtain could be move up higher and would be great. Try it, see how it goes.

I thought the before looked great, so the after is amazing! Especially love the painted circle with the shelves.
I love boho style, but I've had reservations about incorporating it into the bathroom or kitchen since those areas need such intense cleaning and boho relies on lots of pretty textures.
The door handle on the cabinet looks great and I like the idea of avoiding an extra screw. I wonder if you could cut some mounting tape or something and put it on the other bottom of the handle to make it more secure.
