Christ mentions to the Pharisees in John 8:17 saying: “It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.” To be honest, I truly believe that the Muslim faith cannot absorb this concept because they are convinced that something or someone with any sort of great power must always exalt and display their power; never being humble.. that’s why they cannot perceive that Jesus is God. Just like Spanish assigns an ‘a’ or ‘o’ at the end for female and male. ‘Casa’, in Spanish which is ‘House’ in English is assigned a female gender as an example.. it doesn’t mean that it’s a woman now is it? As both a modern and Ancient Greek translator, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the translators added the pronouns simply to equate the language cross-over and nothing more. There are multiple instances in the Bible where the Holy Spirit is called “it” as well. For example, Romans 8:16 says “The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God”. Just like Spanish assigns an ‘a’ or ‘o’ at the end for female and male. ‘Casa’, in Spanish which is ‘House’ in English is assigned a female gender as an example.. it doesn’t mean that it’s a woman now is it?
As both a modern and Ancient Greek translator, I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the translators added the pronouns simply to equate the language cross-over and nothing more.
There are multiple instances in the Bible where the Holy Spirit is called “it” as well. For example, Romans 8:16 says “The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God”. The emphasis on “ITSELF”. You wouldn’t call a person “it” now would you?

I enjoyed the fact that the questions posed by these students (or specifically the student that said he converted from Christianity to Muslim) were not a bunch of bullet points they heard on tiktok, social media or notes they took from their liberal professor, but from what they actually took the time to research and learn on their own.
