I’m really appreciative of this Adam. Yours and Chris Brennen’s channels are two of the only Astro channels I follow, yet I am a student at the FCEA. If I could afford to take both programs at once I would do so. I’ve also done some of your webinars and I use what I’ve learned from you in my EA readings. Yours is also the only channel where I will actually stop and take notes. Can’t wait for part two when you both discuss technical aspects. I struggle with some of the nodal stuff and I look forward to hearing about Ari’s approach. Personally I see no reason not to combine techniques and approaches and weave them together as coherently as possible, in away that’s most helpful to the client. That’s what I do in my bodywork practice. As Ari stated so beautifully, it’s about how the information is delivered.
This is such an amazing talk -- as a novice astrologer, this dialogue shifts the context of my studies from curiosity to an actual purpose and calling. Thank you Adam, I look forward to the First Year Course this November. And Ari, your presence and engagement in the dialogue is magical.

Two of my favorites speaking about philosophical things which I love to listen to. Really enjoying and appreciating this. Especially the part 52 mins in. Just today I was reading a Reddit thread with various people commenting on their natal placements and I wanted to make a giant-font comment that said: “But do you understand what this means about each of our lives and all of the things going on here on Earth??? You’re missing the bigger picture!” 😂 I like the idea that in some small way, perhaps, the notion of the divine is creeping into their awareness. I always had a feeling since I was really young something mystical was underlying all the events in the world. I had to wait until I was over the hill to get the entry ticket to Astrological Disneyland but wow was it worth the wait. And it felt like an aha moment. Like now it all makes sense. Now I’m fully alive. “So there is some cosmic algorithm at play. I thought so! I’m not so crazy after all!” Ha ha! ok maybe a little still. I just want to share that aha moment with everyone I talk to now. 😂

Thank you both i really appreciated this discussion. I am a student of astrology born in new zealand. Such distance from the equater really made a big impact on the houses and what system to use, i have a stellium and the whole chart changed dramatically. Although it is the psycological side that drew me to astrology in the 80s i went with whole sign(hellenistic) to do my formal studies. I find whole sign tells a story of my life(im 66) and am now studying the predictive techiques which i struggle with a bit and feel more drawn to evolutionary astrology but with whole sign houses. I look forward to finishing S im just about 15 mins in 🎉

It is fascinatting that EA emerged at almost the same time that the study of Hellenstic Astrogy was re-emerging due to the discovery and translation of lost ancient texts (thanks to the efforts of Project Hindsight and others). These newly discovered texts uncovered new techniques that did not have the chance to "evolve" while hidden. It seems to me that these two branches of astrology, being born of the same generation and descending from the same roots, were meant to talk to each other even if they speak different languages. Thank goodness for great translators! Can't wait for the next installment.

Detoxifying karma is a topic I’d like to focus on, there’s a system but a long worksheet needs made for it.
You have to use the spheres. Simply, karma is planted or directly dealt with ages 0-28. Moon karmas, things in close relation to the native. Body, family, things in close proximity to the native. Venus is the nation and culture or folk spirit of the native. Then you get into Mercury, then sun. (7, 7, 7, 7). It’s very complex, but a simplification would be, say, my parents divorced in my first 2nd house profection of the moon sphere. So 1 house, body. 2nd house in moon being what supports the native; parents divorce. Venus, mars, Pluto conjunction in libra. Detonation of the nuclear family. So this is a karma related to a meaning of the 2nd house, the next 2nd house profection may be similar but it’s of the Venus sphere.
As karmas pile up, you go your individual paths, and then fulfill the path given by those karmas. When you get into the mars sphere which is of action, you get into an intersection of stoicism and Buddhism of right action. Knowing the karmas and how they impact actions, you then practice stoicism in a form of mindfulness to act properly. You don’t want to be in the mars sphere angry and all emo about mommy and daddy not being around and taking it out on others or even trying to enact policy related to it. Something like that is referred to as a “psychic fault line” where influences can be detrimental to self and others if an individual is unaware of the unresolved karma or is using that karma improperly. Which you see often. There are a LOT of time lords to consider so you need a thorough worksheet which is in the slow process of being made.
Fun episode, there are a lot of similarities with this system and evolutionary. It’s technically considered the lost part of traditional Hellenistic but traditional Hellenistic was lost. Past lives. In this you’d want to look at Karmas, there’s a lot on that. If you know your karmas you’ll know your “purpose” built on through many lives but you have to get past the karmic seeds to start to see it. Take Demetra’s story about recalling translating texts that brought her to project hindsight; that’s an example of a potential usefulness of past lives in relation to this life. Often it’s just to recognize what spiritual tradition you’re from as you’ll be karmically acting out on those impulses.
But, yeah, karma has become a very toxic word in astrology.
I enjoyed this. There’s deviation with Uranus/neptune/pluto but I’ll leave that alone. 😂

Very interesting talk. Ive related to most of the astrology talks from a perspective of spiritual growth and evolution, but didn't realize it was called evolutionary astrology. I'm sure it's been helpful on all levels. Like this Pisces moon, i could feel the influence of Jupiter in gemini, about decision making, while stewing and nit picking. with Mercury in Virgo. By thinking it out, it turned out to be really helpful and then it was like a vein opened with alot of mercurial details. I sort of " compartmentalized" my Pisces in 2nd house, and feel like, from the details, got a more expanded view of everything. I had planned to look at the eclipse, but then decided not to and watched a movie instead. Hopefully, it is all working together for good. Love and light! 🎵❤️💕💔✌️🙏
Yes, walk through life without attachment. With Osho in India was also appreciating wealth, both as he stated for the neo-man, being as Zorba the Buddha, both. Yes, divine will, I can't do manifestations and projections, unless its for a precise calculation thorough time.

I’d like to hear the technical and then listen to this as reasons for the technical should reveal the philosophy underlying it. I don’t mean this as a criticism as Adam you’re great.
A question for Ari, if he can answer: I’ve been wondering about ”old souls” how would one see in a chart if the soul is old? Would Pluto or the south node be seen as most important as a marker for the age of the soul? Does a soul ever start new laps around the zodiac, once one lap is finalized?
EA is rather new for me, like one year old.

Getting farther and farther away from astrology's agrarian roots makes me worse. When we study the 28,000 year old cave paintings in places like Lascuax France, and observe the seven white spots in the nose of the painted aurocks, corresponding directly with the seven sisters in the sign of Taurus - as a shaft of light from the first rays of the spring sun illuminated the ox's nose - the first day of spring - we can see that these people were waiting for herd animals with horns (Aries the ram and Taurus the bull) to return.
To these people this meant the breaking of the Winter long fasting. Everything in Egypt began and ended with agrarian cycles, if not then there would be certain famine for the entire culture. Of course I am certainly wrong about so many things, yet my heart and my soul whisper that the more disembodied I become, the more detached from the earth I allow things to be, the worse this planet gets in the small part I have to play - doing what I can to stop the sixth extinction on the miracle planet. Yes, the earth is temporary and yet I'm madly in love with the miracle of it existing at all.
I’d love to see you both study Zohar. It would give you answers to the loose ends …..

Has anyone done evolutionary charts on evil people?
I don't know about evolutionary chart, but Donald Trump has had several books written about him. His niece, Mary T I believe just wrote a 2nd book, and she's a psychologist. He's both a combo of his upbringing and seems to have followed his lower instincts without remorse on some of it. . His nephew, Fred the 3rd, recently wrote a book, that portrays his conscience. Also a latest book, LUCKY LOSER, is about his life in business and as the son of a billionaire. I don't feel polarized, as facts are facts. I believe his birth chart is on u tube. Many astrologers have referenced it. It'd definitely be an interesting study. A while back, I got into some books on CD about him. I'm sure there's many more. 😅

I found as I evolve more spiritually I became more.aware on all levels, and any involvement is usually a help to the situation. It is an interesting time in history.
