i’m a long-time astro podcast listener/watcher and can i just say-these are so much fun and i get so excited when i see a new one is out! this is a great idea :))
What I find striking about Jayleen’s example is that we are both Aqua risings having the same transits, and her job loss and struggles with interviewing and finding a new job mimic the same events and time line of my own. What’s different is that she was able to finally land a job this month with the new moon that occurred I believe. Saturn transited away from her midheaven and she has a natal sun/mercury in the 8th, which combined with her 11H stellium, benefited her with others helping her. I just interviewed for two jobs that were promising and I almost landed it but they rescinded the offer at the last minute, around the same time Jayleen got her job. The difference: Saturn transiting my 2H is squaring my natal Mars all year, ruler of my 10H along with my midheaven. I’m in a 12H profection year with Saturn as time lord. Denial denial delay delay. Jayleen is in an 8H profection year so she’s benefiting from others resources via her connections. So to see her land the job finally and me not land it, really highlights the difference in outcomes based on the transits/profection. Great episode Chris.

@@BreaBreaBreeze that makes a lot of sense! I didn’t think of that. Venus is going to enter our 10H Scorpio soon and trine Saturn. Maybe that will bring something in for you. Either way, you should leverage your network too if you haven’t already. Everyone I knew, knew what I wanted my next job to be. That’s how my colleague knew that I would be the perfect fit for the role that her colleague asked her if she knew someone for it. Looking back i only get roles through my network. With your 10H ruler in the 11th, I’m sure your network is also important for you. I also did take a position that is lower in pay than I wanted because I knew Saturn was in the 2nd. I’m excited for you. Being unemployed was a transformative process for me and I learned a lot about my inner world which has allowed me to show up as a better and more grounded person in life and career. It also allowed me time to grieve my brother even if I had to interview right after it happened. I’m sure it’s hard to see the positive side some days while you’re still going through it but just remember the job you are looking for is looking for you too!! And the ones you thought you wanted and didn’t get weren’t for you! And you are smart and worthy and the right people will see that ♥️

I’m one whose ruler of the 2nd house is in the 1st (and vice versa as well). Your assessment of this situation is true for me: I have always had my own business and the product I sell is me and something I am teaching. What I teach relies heavily on my own experience and unique ways of doing/thinking abt something. Additional side work I do has been writing about my own life experiences and views on a subject + singing. I do not have a big drive to have a lot of money. My drive is in 1) creating/sharing good things I value or believe in, 2) living unusually and cheaply so I always have some extra money and no worries about bills, and 3) NOT working full time, 4) being really good at what I do, 5) working creatively so I am naturally motivated to do my job, 6) having a lot of variety in my day to day work. 2nd House - Scorpio with its ruler (Pluto) in 1st of Libra. 1st house ruler (Venus) is in 2nd house. Uranus is also in 1st house w Pluto and Mars is with Venus in 2nd house.
First person.-Mars square Uranus w moon. Moon rules the chart. That Rahu (n node) with mars being activated by Saturn is really violent and dicey. Rahu is sneaky and smoky. It’s related to thieves and deception. ( worked while hiding in bushes) Venus there prolly saved the situation -though it brought money into it. Her rising sign in cancer shows grabbing things with those claws. I love how this chart comes up today and her MC is exactly at 25 deg Pisces where lunar eclipse lands. Nice!

I took a closer look at my own chart -- I've got oodles of cousins and many siblings that crowd into my life erratically, it feels like, and sure enough, Neptune in my 3rd house sextiles Uranus and trines Venus in the 12H. I know there is a 2H as well as 3H connection to my 2H, becaus of the way we help each other out, but I must take a deeper dive to see the actual astrology.
Amelia, if you get to read this, your reading really touched me. I'm glad you came out okay from all that happened to you. And sorry you have money struggles - me too - so I get it. I changed my situation for better by working every day in a week for about 10 months. I was able to save some money and that felt like a huge relief. I wish you courage, strength, money and ease.

If I may add some of my own observations: 1/ pity Chiron is not there, I think he plays a big role in Taurus, which to me means Amelia is anyway vulnerable in the area of what is “my own”, in the 11th - where it was pointed out to her happened in the public (the street), domain of Uranus, unexpected, and natally opposed to her Venus. Chiron in Taurus is ruled by Venus in Gemini in the 12th, and that in turn by Mercury in Pisces which adds to the confusion regarding boundaries between me and others. In an effort to define herself and her boundaries at the age of Saturn return, just prior to that Saturn (men pretending to be authority figures) prepares her for this self definition by triggering her Sun’s ruler Mars in the 2nd, appropriating her identity, symbolised by her passport, so she is made to fight for it!
