*Please like, comment and share this video!* UA-cam algorithm has not been kind to cover musicians recently. Absolutely one of the most challenging songs I've arranged, lots of harmonics and percussion.
Maybe this helps a little for the algorithm, I think you should make a few short vids less than a minute in between cover, just you playing a few bit of any cover (popular one is better), I don't want you to be like Eddie, now he just inconsistent in his UA-cam channel for past two years.
I'm in close contact with Eddie and he's actually got a reason to be inactive. And I also don't agree with making a few short vids, had a few other musician friends test that out on UA-cam and it didn't help their channels whatsoever. Thanks for the suggestion and thought.

I'm also playing guitar, but I don't have a lot of time to practice so even if I learn, I can just go as far as I could remembering how to play, mastering the song is a lot harder at take much more time, so watching you guys playing guitar helps me enjoy my hobbies.
I always keep coming back to this cover of yours every once in a while because it resonates with me a lot. 86 was such an incredible show and it's something I genuinely hold it dear to me. Listening to this avid cover of yours always gives me an emotional happy nostalgic type of feeling which I usually don't get most of the time. Honestly, I haven't actually watched the show yet or heard the song before, but I can definitely feel the love and effort that you put behind this cover. The sheer coordination and skill it takes to mix in those harmonics with regular notes are often under-appreciated. But you incorporate them pretty smoothly and still make them sound whole and beautiful. Add in the various percussive elements like the wrist thumps and thumb slaps, and you get a very well-crafted piece. Also impressed that you spent 4 months perfecting it. It takes a lot of dedication to do that. This video deserves a lot more views and likes than it currently has. But if you keep on showing the passion that this vid has, then I'm sure the algorithm will eventually help you out XD. Keep up the good work, and most importantly, keep on enjoying what you do and playing music you like. Thanks a lot!
This really means a lot to me, I absolutely adore this song and wanted to give my best effort. I wouldn't say it's perfect, there are some things I definitely could've done better, including the timing of certain parts (some parts were rushed) and the controlling the dynamics. Even if this doesn't get many views, as long as the people who watch it like yourself can enjoy it, I'm more than satisfied. Thanks for your support!
phenomenal. Just rewatched 86 again today and was touched even more profoundly than the first time. I rarely stay and not skip the ED and credits, but I did for every episode of 86. The song perfectly synchronized with the lore. And as it goes on, it hits differently on every episode. Was afraid that such a delicate cover wouldn't exist in this world. But you made it happen. Thank you, for the fascinating performance/months of practice. As well as the sheet which allows me to learn it. Much appreciated. Hope Major. Algorithm catches up to you one day.

I was thinking "ah, it shouldn't be too hard, I'm pretty sure I can master it if I practice this song in just a month", and as soon as I try playing this, reality crushed me. My finger can't coordinate well, my mind is hurting from thinking how could I play this, just feels like I want to throw my guitar, haha
The "Verse 2" is actually the hardest part of the song, way harder than the chorus, because the amount of times you must take your hand from the soundhole to the artificial harmonic frets then back to do the percussion. The chorus is really fun to play after you get it down though, while the 2nd verse is still really annoying everytime I play it.
@@RobertChen Yeah, I couldn't even imagine how hard it is to play, when I thought you arrange this for the whole month and three months to master it I thought you were exaggerating, but yeah, this is hard as hell
Hardest part about arranging it was making sure the melodic notes and harmonic notes aren't on the same string so both can keep ringing at the same time, although I imagine it would've taken a lot less time if I wrote a tab for the song as I arranged it. But doing that makes me lose creativity

Natural harmonics were pretty easy. The artificial harmonics were a big contributing factor to why it took 4 months to get this song out.
