Hi guys so I went back to my spot to try out my Arrma Felony that now has a Castle Creations Mamba Monster X 8s esc MMX8s and a Castle TP Power 4050 3200kv motor. I ran it on 60C 6s batteries in parallel. She did pretty well.

Right on brother! It would go even faster if I left the stock gearing in the diffs. I wanted to run same size tires all around because I have a lot of tires and I melted the stock big tires down. None were available (tires or 2.80 gears) at the time so I swapped gears that I had already 3.30 13/43. I will probably put the front gear ratio of 2.80 in the front and back as parts become available. She gets faster in the next vid.

Thanks brother! I swapped my diff gears to 3.30 ratio's but your Infraction has taller 2.85 diff ratios. The 3200 Kv 4050 I have here is too high really. For your Infraction(with those 2.85 diff ratio's) your better off going with the TP 4050-CM 2300KV (8S) motor. You will have more torque and you can gear it up and have the option to go with 8s if you want. In retrospect I would have gone with the 2300kv.

@@KaizerTest I’m thinking about swapping my infraction to a GT car. I just had an issue with the motor in it and the body keeps causing me wrecks
@@serjoe06 Yeah 150 is doable with the Infraction but less stability than a GT body plus you can go faster with the GT. I want to get the Felony faster but I'm afraid of a major damage wreck because of that body. I may do a few more passes and try and get a clean 120 out of it then I will slap the Jaguar 1/7 body on her with a Limitless wing. My Slash is my main ride hopefully to 150 though. I see that as my best chance.

@@FullOnRC Hahaha...yeah it doesn't take long to melt them away. I ate through my Felony tires on the second run. But they didn't have the rear tires available to buy here until like a week ago. So I swapped my diff gears front and back to the old 3.30 gears( I had a spare set front and rear for my Typhon). SO now I run same size tires all around. I brought the rear tires out a little with M2C wider rear hexes. Could probably use Kraton hexes too.

So did you have to upgrade drive line? And do you recommend castle esc and TP motor or max 6 and TP motor? Thx just got my felony last night in the mail!!
The drive line is fine the way it is. If you want to do speed runs put a Limitless spool in it. Or you can leave it alone and just put the speed pinion on. You can do about 90mph just with goo batteries and the speed pinion.

@@cjchannel12RC Get the Mamba Monster X 8s. You will never fy it. But the Futaba should work fine with any esc.
I'm currently debating if i should still get an XO-1 roller or get a felony rtr or a limitless i saw your XO-1 run and it seems to wander across the road.
Definitely get the Limitless or an Infraction v2. The X01 is WAY to old a design now. Just trust me on this. It's the only car I couldn't get to go over 80mph. Even my Tamiya TT02 did 97mph. The Infraction v2 or the limitless is your best bet. They can do 100mph and go straight with minimal setup.
@@KaizerTest I just bought a 4-Tec 2.0 Ford GT to test onroad cars before i spend almost 700 - 900 bucks on a Limitless or a Felony. I kinda wanted an XO-1 it sucks it's too old now but thanks for the advice.
What is the cap pack for I wanted to put a 2080kv to motor with that same Castle esc in my car what will the cap pack do for me
It prevents the current from ripple and keeps a steady flow of amperage as the battery voltage sags. If you speed run its a good idea to have a cap pack.
It looks like you replaced the wide Hoons on the rear with 100’s?
Yes Sir. I put same size Hoons all around, changed diff gears front and rear to Typhon/Limitless 13/43 gears for 3.30 ratio and put wider hex's in the rear so the tires sit 1/2 " further out to fill the rear wheel well like the big tires did.
How did the esc not over heat
I know...I was a little crazy running a 3200kv motor but I only did like 2 passes and let it cool...lol. The motor is rated for 6s but not 8s.
My felony always takes flight. I do not know how you are keeping yours on the Ground.
have the front end slightly lower. Open the back of the body to let air escape. Basically I cut the rear tail light area out. Also have a little toe OUT on the front to help the car track straight at speed. Really thats it. I have done 138MPH 222kph on my slash with this simple setup.
