Wow!! The smallest amount allocated is to the most screwed up system (board of appeals)??!! Apparently they are taking the situation very seriously… I can already hear the excuses from the VA, we just don’t have the budget to keep up.
The VA is still having claims processing problems with its beneficiary travel pay system. In addition, we have been notified that travel pay for going to certain types of VA prescribed medical appointments will not longer be eligible for travel pay. This will primarily affect low income veterans who need reimbursement for their travel expenses in order to attend their appointments. This is going to preclude a lot of low income veterans from receiving their health care.

I would like to know more about the caregiver program
There is 3300 SSI judges , 90 VA judges , 5-7 years wait on VA cases. 11.4 Months on SSI cases. If the VA can get just 3% of the SSI judges to move over to the VA the backlog would be gone , write your congressman, I sent a note to all 6 Kansas Reps and Senators
As a veteran whenever I hear, "Thank you for your service" I cringe on the inside. If you are honest with yourself, a person would have to admit to themselves that a 7 years wait for ANYTHING is an obvious so that the system does not care for veterans. 7 years? You could have zero college start school and become a lawyer in the time is take the VA Board of Apeals to decide your claim.
As a veteran, I can not morally encourage any young person to join the military, it just is not worth the sacrifice.

Imagine loosing a limb of even worse losing a loved one to senseless war knowing how the system treats it's veterans? 7 years to decide a claim. I can not think of anything in the world that should be a 7 years wait. Can it be anymore clear that the system does not care about you?
No worries…we’ll give all the money to Ukraine 🤷♂️
