Ohhh look at this coolant!! You the best man.
Great king form video !! Long form builds a community that’s for sure !
My mother in law had her Pacifica hybrid oil changed at the dealership and they upcharged her for some “extended oil life additive for $35 without telling her. I told her it’s snake oil. The car has 44k miles. Have you heard about this?
Extended Oil Life Additive????? Hmmmmm, No I have not. But, dealers not all the same. They do things differently
@@OnlineMechanicTips thanks for the reply! Love your videos man! Especially on the pentastar. Helped me do my rocker arm replacement on my 2014 wrangler. 190k miles and running strong!
I seen a dude outside AutoZone Saturday with a gallon of coolant and bottle of stop leak!! I said JT would say no no no 😂😂😂😂
LoL! They got a little snippy when I got my 3rd set of hub bearings in 2 years, that had life time warranty... We were putting 5,000 miles a week on our truck. I felt bad and bought the 4th set. 😁
I bought lifetime shoes and master cylinders for the Dart and that was before pc and the net. I kept all the receipts in a file cabinet and probably got 3 master cylinders and 5 or so sets of front shoes, no disk brakes. I never resurface the drums unless they are warped seeing how you can't hardly find used or new 10 inch A body drums now. They always gave me a a new set with the reciept and the one time I couldn't find it they gave me a refund when I found it several months later. Amazon has great prices on new rotors, just read the reviews or buy the big brand ones and save some money.
Just never get all the way down to the backing plate
Ceramic pads pretty good highly recommend. Oh, by the way, Tesla just dumped making chargers for EV. BACK to the point that brake fluid ain't in the best shape. Done said self-charging hybrids the way to go. Don't depend on the grid. 💯😎
Free brake pads are good.. But you still have to pay for the labor... That's usually the stipulation..
Former AutoZoner here, I worked at the location just down the road from that one lol. Want to clarify, its not like you’ll have unlimited free brake pads for the lifetime of the vehicle but once those pads go out and you go to replace them, those new free pads will not be under warranty.
I see some people trashing on Autozone brake pads, now i’ve never used their standard line brake pads because i like to have new brake hardware included so i always get their gold brake pads. I’ve never had any issues with them though. They always worked just fine and lasted long.
Their elite pads are overkill though, i wouldn’t buy those. Just a waste of money,
Blue Devil Rear maim seal fix worked for a truck I had
Explain
Blue devil worx for everything. It's the best
@@OnlineMechanicTipsYoo jt, hope you doing well sir . Just a small question. When installing a rear main seal on a 5.7 hemi , just to confirm , does the crankshaft outer edge or rear main seal need any oil on it for installation? Or is it to be installed completely bone dry ? Thanks
Heya man , Off topic ...
You ever get an air pocket in the oil cooler after changing out ?
I believe I'm fighting one now & so far its winning .
3.6
No I have not. But it can sometime be a challenge getting all the air out of those engines.
@@OnlineMechanicTips
For sure ....
I've read several similar reports on our '14 Jks
@@OnlineMechanicTips
Got any burb tips ?
I'm going thru your video log to see
This gonna flip your wig!!! Most restaurants the LARGE and SMALL cup are the same size by volume. Just APPEARS bigger
Lmao, really?
Exactly I have been getting free pads and shoes for 40 years after I buy the first set. As long as I own my car.
But if it’s a car your not planning on keeping long , online might be a better option
those will squeak so have fun with that.
there not race pad loud
I've never had problems with duralast brake pads
👍🏿
Amazon charges less for the additives
Yo JT, what eva happen to mopar or no car, dem aint mopar pads😅
Lol. My last 40 dollars for brake pads. Mopar dont offer such a lifetime warranty..Lol
It’s for science
Is 2017 the Cherokee that you need a scan tool to retract the rear calipers because of the electric parking brake?
I got ceramic brake pads from Rock auto cheaper than semi metallic at the store you went to
same but from autozone, only reason i got them is because. they produces less dust, keep my wheels clean
warranties are typically for mechanical issues, not normal wear and tear
No M on box. Thought Mopar or no part
Lmao, stop it
The universal coolant works in every car....but Dodge Jeep Chrysler 😆
Geez get the gold at least...chirp chirp
They was an extra maybe 10 more bucks. Guess what, they going to last just as long as these. Both lifetime warranty, so whats the point? Keep that 10 dollars and put it towered the rear brakes when you need it.
Squealing and 10 times the dust is def not worth it..
@@pascratcherjoe No squealing and no excessive dust my guy. Just good marketing on there part at convincing people of such.
I'm telling ya, I've used them for years on numerous cars, they are soft, they will squeal and you will get excessive dust my guy.
@@pascratcherjoe They been on a week now. All good so far. Besides, im a mechanic, its not that serious to me.
JT I know your a Mopar lover, but my love of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep is done. Never had one that has made it past 100k w/o having trans.,rust or engine problems! I'm done dude! And by the way, every one was maintained well. Stellantis sucks balls!
Always buyy Gold pads, those padsa are junk!
Everything AutoZone sells is garbage. I've already been down that road a long time ago. Yes they have a lifetime warranty which means they will replace the pads one time in the lifetime of you owning the vehicle. That does not mean they will replace your brake pads for a lifetime of you owning the vehicle.
