Hi Peter, hope all is well you and the family, I got an email from them the other day about the purchase, I hope Rails of Sheffield have a say in producing some of Hatton’s classic wagons like the Rail head treatment wagons and the FEA wagons in colours other than green and blue, maybe finish the Plasser & Theurer 12ton crane Hatton’s didn’t finish, I thought Accurascale were going to help out with unfinished projects but it seems they have bottled it! Such a shame when they claim to listen to modellers.
I have said this in another comment I do not think that rails will be doing any models like they said the business side of hattons is closed it's just the website and name they have bought I think. But you never know what might happen we will have to wait and see. We are all very well thank you and the same back to you and your family stay safe. Peter
@@chelmswoodjunction Such a shame when they have an opportunity to make some extra money buy re-releasing those great wagons again so modellers stop getting their pants pulled down by unscrupulous greedy sellers on GreedBay with their excessively high secondhand prices, so those moulds are just sat there doing nothing when they can be making good money, Accurascale have a good relationship with Hatton’s but they don’t seem bothered about producing some great wagons in their Chinese factories for Hatton’s? No wonder the hobby is not as good as it was.
Accurascale announced the delivery of the warwell wagons and the AB and P engines which were in progress and clearly stated in that release that news on the other hattons tools would be forthcoming. A little patience perhaps is all that’s needed.
@@mccarronfamily i didn’t see that about other Hatton’s tooling, I’ve asked about re-released items with no reply, I’ve also see other modellers asking about potential re-runs and nothing so forgive me if I’m a bit cheesed off about the situation, look at Hornby digging into the moulds from the past all the time and their products are not good at all, some are so dated and bad with their giant D style couplings that are an eyesore! Hatton’s we’re going to produce the 12 ton Plasser & Theurer crane but didn’t want to upset Bachmann who were going to release their 45 ton Ransom crane, so I guess Hatton’s backed off. I would buy Hatton’s wagons if or when they release the wagons I stated above, an own goal is being missed if they don’t.
@@StormmyStormmy The crane never got past early drawings so there were no mould or anything there. Anyone else making one would be a new model from scratch. The other items i’m sure will appear in due time. Model making is an expensive and slow business

I was hoping someone bought the tooling for Hattons own locos and stock, OO and O Gauge.
They have not said about toolings or models bit I know they have taken over the website.
We will have to wait and see what happens.
