@@patxitravels hello! Yes we had a lovely cruise going around the British Isles. Having worked on board as cruise staff and taken many cruises the Jewel has been one we've been on before. This size of ship is a favorite of many tenured cruisers! For me, itinerary is often the more earnest point in a cruise but certainly there are ships with more amenities and space....however the charm is not lessened on any of the "smaller" ships. The Jewel is easy to navigate to be sure and getting on and off is quick.....as are the new ships. A lovely cruise around the British Isles was a great choice. Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England and a start in Amsterdam which is another bonus. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I completely agree - there is something special about these mid-sized ships like the Jewel of the Seas. They are easy to navigate and boarding is a breeze! It must have been amazing to explore the British Isles on this fantastic itinerary. I also started my cruise on the Jewel in Amsterdam, a good place to start! please let me know about the next cruise you are planning!
It is such a fine ship. We have cruised with her several times already in the past years, we definitely know! 😉 Actually, the next cruise will be a back2back: the Caribbean in March of '24, starting in San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by a Transatlantic to Southampton. We are very much looking forward to it, especially since we just experienced an absolute downer with another cruise line läßt week.
Thank you for your comment! I wish you the best of luck on your upcoming cruises. What type of room have you booked on the Jewel of the Seas? I really enjoyed the service provided by the staff, especially in the main dining room. And once the cruise ends in London, what are your plans? May I ask which Cruise line you had the bad experience with?
Since we have cruised with them several times we have booked different ones, whatever the price and destination allowed. We have had inside, oceanview and balcony. In the upcoming b2b we have balcony and inside (meaning we have to move) Since we live in Europe, Southampton is our final destination. From there we will book the bus transfer to LHR and fly home. Well, the line we had such awful experience with was Costa. After a not so great cruise with them a few years ago we thought of giving another chance. Should not have done so!
Hello! 👋 thank you for your comment. there are themed nights, where they recommend dressing well, in white or Hawaiian style, but it's not mandatory, some people heed the recommendations and others don't. Are you planning to travel with the Jewel? where do you want to go?
Hi Layg! Thanks for comment 👍 there is a small bar with coffees and teas that is open 24 hours. but snacks, like sandwiches, pizzas, fruit, etc. close at night I think it closes at 1am.
I went on that same exact cruise and it was amazing and I made lots of friends
Hello! thanks for writing! what stops did you make on the cruise?
They recently renovated it 👌
Great ship. Took her in 2022 and will be on it again tomorrow for a British Isles tour.
Hi Darren! Thanks for comment 👍👍
Now is refurbished 💪
which port of call will you visit?
Hi Darren!
How was the cruise? Did you have a great experience? any news?

@@m.m.4645hi! I was in an interior cabin on deck 3 and there was a lot of noise.
I Like this kind of ship Cruises.
Is there a dress up formal dinner night, or is it basically just come as you are?

Did you actually go on the ship? lol There aren’t any water slides on the Jewel OTS, just a small one for kids.
Hi! Thanks for comment!
No this is AI content
Good video but terrible AI voice over. Just awful. Do your own voice over
Hi Cameron, thanks for comment!
@@patxitravelsyes, the AI is terrible.
Nice video but that AI voice is really, really bad. Buy a mic and do your own voiceovers. Talk to your viewers! JMO ... :)
Hi! Thanks for comment 👍 i changed the voice, now is better.
My own voice is really bad! But i have to try It.
Just offering my opinion. Super nice work on the videos!😊
