Okay, this girl is a wizard.
In lesser hands, a loose hank of Kanekalon fiber braiding hair would become an unmanageable bird’s nest when repeatedly pulled through rubber bands.
For the uninitiated, it is very easy to inadvertently catch a few stray strands of fiber while executing these maneuvers. Once that happens, the entire hank can suddenly become fully involved .
I’d caution a mere mortal to purchase several hanks (they’re commonly offered in 1, 3, 6 or 8 piece packages) so that after one has accidentally knitted the first sacrificial hank into a felted sweater, there will be a few backup pieces to experiment with.
