Welcome back Paul. Glad to have you back, our most successful manager since the late 70s and early 80s, since Graham Turner. Wishing you all the very best!
Grimsby fan here too. Paul has been the most successful manager we've had for a very long time. The playoffs and the fa cup run he will be remembered at gtfc for for a very long time. For me it's it's the way he builds a team with a great team spirit and at Grimsby apart from this season his ability to get results away from home. Good luck Hursty. Imo I wish he was still at Blundell Park Park
Good to see Paul back, now some confidence will be back as we had some of the best times under Paul last time with us since the great Graham Turner of 1978/9. The only way is up. 2 Wembley visits in a season.
Shrewsbury’s urgent needs are simple: stabilise the team, score more goals than the opposition, win games, get points. And I think it’s significant that it’s not just a new head coach but a dual appointment that’s come in to achieve that. Got the feeling that the previous coaching and recruiting team leads weren’t entirely on the same page themselves, which confused things on the pitch. Now go get to work, fellas, and here’s to a better second half of the season for all concerned.
Good luck Grimsby fan here he achieved good stuff with us but needed to be sacked the style Of his football is dire hardly get out your own half he’s against attack it’s all about not losing rather than trying to get the win
In my opinion, this is a backwards step! He left us for Ipswich under a cloud and left us in the lurch! The appointment is a bit of a knee jerk reaction... However, I hope that he does as well as he did in his first spell, and wish him a successful time with us!
How funny how he’s “always”wanted this to happen. Great so while at GY you just threw the towel in before the season had really started with plans to go leaving us stuck at the bottom with a negative playing disjointed team. Enjoy Shrewsbury, he’ll probably walk again.

Welcome back Paul Hurst to Shrewsbury town! Good luck for the team all the best

Good luck Hursty! UTM
Not the old, ‘Hursty’ to his mates!
Unfortunately, people forget that last time, he simply walked out of Shrewsbury - Whereas, I believe Paul is okay, there is a sour taste nonetheless.
Now hes gone 😢
His like Darren Ferguson flip flops back to same clubs
Good luck Grimsby fan here he achieved good stuff with us but needed to be sacked the style

He got you promoted into the league twice and took you to the fa cup quarters as a league two team .

Not far left to step backwards 😅
