@@The_Rizzler27Actually when you catch a pitcher the speeds look almost identical but if the fastball moves like a cutter so something it is extremely difficult to catch
The most recent stats that I can find are from 2022, but at that time, Chapman had thrown 273 pitches of at least 103 MPH. The next nine pitchers had 95 combined. Ben Joyce and Paul Skenes are going to give Aroldis a run for his money.
@@Lrg3Topping I would rather be accurate and slow than fast and wild. If they put the ball in play my fielders can make the play. If I walk them a lot than it is a free base.
I did 87 at a dunk tank (there was a guy there with a radar gun) when I was 11. The guy with the gun said that's faster than the little league world record. I've never played baseball
POV: you're Aroldis Chapman's catcher 👁️👄👁️
Man if I were every fastball call I’d shit my pants
@@The_Rizzler27Actually when you catch a pitcher the speeds look almost identical but if the fastball moves like a cutter so something it is extremely difficult to catch
Or his wife considering his abusive past
Half of these were just chapman
That’s what I was thinking
He’s the person that can actually consistently hit 105
more than half
bro is different
if you think that's half, let me get half of your bank account lol
2 Hicks
8 Chapman
1 Joyce
And Joyce was the only one who got a strike.
These pitches are arguably too fast
“STRIKE NUMBER THREE, IT WAS ONE HUNDRED AND FUUU”
Making contact with 105 is insane
I was there in person for Chapmans 105 this past season while on the pirates and the stadium was electric watching him run it up.
It's amazing how Chapman hasnt had a single Tommy John surgery in his career to this point when he dishes out heaters like that
I rly thought Jordan hicks was gonna be one of the greats he’s literally got the nastiest pitch I’ve ever seen dude just can’t throw a strike
Welcome to the life of a Yankees fan when Chapman came back from the cubs
This really shows how hard it is
Bro brandon belt faced it twice in the same at bat 😂
I like how it's literally Chapman and then randomly Hicks & Joyce. The only 3 arms powerful enough apparently.
Being Chapman's catcher, it's like a firefighter. You stop fireballs coming at you! 👁️👄👁
Chapman on yanks was crazy
Sold us in the playoffs
I love how many of these ended up as balls 🤣
that man chapman was built diffrent
*is built different. He’s still chuckin it
Mr chapman can really throw that ball
Even getting a piece of 105 is insane
How the other team be throwing when I’m in a slump:
Alternate title: Aroldis Chapman fastest pitches
Angels fans LOVE Ben Joyce!!!
I'm a tennesee fan, and since angels have 2 of our players now I'm an angels fan 😂
Ben Joyce was unexpected

Glad Chapman isn’t on the Rangers anymore. Throwing that hard is cool but he has almost zero control.
How much more difficult is hitting a 105 mph fastball than your standard mid-high 90s mph fastball?
Can’t believe hicks used to throw that hard
Chapman's arsenal Fastball. Fastball . Fastball . Fastball
Alternative name for this video: Aroldis chapmans fastest pitches
I’m just waited for someone to hit 106. We all know it’s inevitable at this point.
I miss when hicks was a cardinal
Notice how almost all of them are balls, so pitchers, know that it is better to throw strikes than throw as hard as you can!
105 down the middle is harder to hit than 96 painted. Not every pitch is going to be a strike, if you do that as a pitcher you’re gonna get lit up.
@@Lrg3Topping I would rather be accurate and slow than fast and wild. If they put the ball in play my fielders can make the play. If I walk them a lot than it is a free base.
Nolan Ryan 😂
2 strikes in the entire video
Idk how Chapman is still doing this
These are just Aroldis Chapman highlights
Is there a reason most of these are terrible pitches?
They could’ve just said every time Chapman throws 105
2 dozen pitches and only 1 was a strike lol.
Accuracy was *ss. Would rather have 95 mph pitches that won't have the catcher running after the ball.
Chap most common pitches lol
imagine getting hit by that
Aroldis Chapman compilation
Chapmen fastest pitcher
*Chapman highlight reel
and like 2 hit the strike zone
Aroldis Chapman is the fastest pitch accept Ben joyce
Where's aroldis Chapman
A broken bat ow
they're not even strikes lmao
that is 168kph
So impressive. They aren’t strikes.. 😒 Ben Joyce’s was impressive. He painted that
Just shows u all Chapman had was speed. Everyone’s making contact off him. Doesn’t have good stuff he just throws hard. He fools nobody
*has
Which is why Ben Joyce will be better than him and probably faster eventually
I’ve seen faster pitches by Aroldis Chapman
Almost pushing 110 😅
Bro, NHL goalies take faster pucks like in talking ALOT faster
3 strikes and 8 balls I think most of them are poorly placed, doesn't seem worth it
I did 87 at a dunk tank (there was a guy there with a radar gun) when I was 11. The guy with the gun said that's faster than the little league world record. I've never played baseball
15/16 balls lmao
The batters still swung at half at them.
Nolan Ryan is faster in my opinion
It's not an opinion it is just facts that he is not
