Awesome job getting your first topwater fish! It's not downhill but its uphill from here! It's good seeing depths and stuff for sure. There were a few places my dad would take me as a kid and I still go to two of them regularly. And they are definitely my reason why I fell in love with fishing. To answer your question 👊

Thanks man. Glad to hear about your dad taking you out to fish and that birthing a love for it. I hope to plant the same seed with my kiddos and hopefully it’ll be something we can share for a lifetime.
Wish me luck - fishing the big lake soon, and these warmer temps should have the top water busting. 🤞🏽

Nice set up brother! Looks extremely helpful, I’ve got a few places I’ve been wondering the exact depth for years 😂. That a nice pond there, I have a spot like that, a creek about 10 minutes away from my house, spent many mornings there.l and my PB Small Mouth has been broken there a couple times.

Nice to hear about that creek. It’s also wild that those creeks can hold insane smallmouth lol. The pond there needs a little work - I think it’ll be overrun with algae by summer.

3:26 I wouldn't say I necessarily have a body of water or anything, when I first started bass fishing as a kid I was actually fishing for trout with my dad. And I was using a spinner and I caught like a 1 lb bass. And then my dad showed me Sunday morning fishing shows Bill dance those guys, and that was it. 😊 I've been hooked since. And now I am chasing my dream which it's going to be a little bit of a process but I want to do tournaments

Love to hear that about you and your dad. Those memories are priceless! Haha, classic Bill Dance!
Do you have little ones, or plans for little ones in the future?

How do you hold your ketch board stable on deck? I just got that big one now I don't know where or how to put it on my 106.

So what I’ve been doing is putting it right behind my seat. The tension from my tether keeps it from sliding too far or around. It’s been working so far, and I’ve been out in some windy and choppy conditions as well with it. So far so good
