CASK, RASK are kind of terms which I never heard even on news channels they never used these terms.
The smart way indigo airlines is operating its business like asset light model and same aircraft to get price discounts is worth appreciation.

I believe the competition may come from Railways.
Railways are expanding rail capacity and aim to provide 100% confirm tickets for all pasengers. Customers who buy air tickets due to constraint rail capacity might flock away from airline to Railways.

In India a lot prefer trains or road to flights ... unlike US where domestically flying is preferred.
Europe has the euro rail ..which is awesome ..
If we develop ur vande mataram type of trains ..
Or metro become long distance... railways will be boom ..
Avg. lease period 3-5 yrs; they haven't mentioned anything on minimum or maximum lease period.

how it is helping to replace old tech planes to new?? Ing=diGO is purchasing ony and giving to leasing company what's the benifit and what they do for older planes???

1. Profit before tax 1.36 cr , tax -1700% , net profit 24.50 cr, what does this signifies?
2. Roce is 12, ROE is 68, debt is 0, why this much difference in RoCE and ROE when there is no debt?

Being part of the industry..its a very detailed insight...however I rather go with an airline that gives value to its customers.
Than just be LCC or FSC ....
Eg there is a case study on Southwest Airlines...with the major reason behind their success is not being an LCC ..it is their level of service ..
India
I would prefer vistra backed by Tata ..if they can maintain their service levels and integrity.
Sadly, even South west has torn seats and a horrible service. 😅

I see video and then I see negative D2E ratio... be pilot or buy air-ticket or jump a building but never to buy an airline
Actually, reserves are positive and debt is only lease liabilities..
But lease liabilities are growing at much faster pace than cash reserves. The ratio was 0.9 in 2017, 2.1 in 2021 and now 3.4. Such figures only sustain if growth is sustained at extraordinary rate , but such is hardly possible in Longterm @@SOICfinance
