Short story time:
I was doing some work listening to music and the UA-cam auto play put on the Valkyrie trilogy (logical since I have heard Valkyrie I and I really liked it)
I was getting on with my work and the music in the background was great until this part of the trilogy
As soon as Laura’s vocals came on, I immediately froze. I don’t know if it was because of how different it is to Valkyrie II or something else, but I could not focus on my work.
This song quite literally stunned me.
I get something I cannot describe, but I will attempt to anyway: it felt as if the voice was singing directly to my heart, or my soul, I don’t really know. But I know for certain that I wasn’t hearing it the same as other songs.
Once I heard this song, I had to check out some more of your craft, and I was not disappointed. As a semi-regular listener to Monstercat, I had heard of you before, and I knew you had done collaborations to make great songs like Valkyrie and Pure Sunlight, but I did not know you did solo work.
Ok short story over. Reading that was cringe but I felt I needed to share it :P
TLDR: Laura Brehm is a goddess. I wish I had known about her music sooner.

Scott Osgood Ok you have me second guessing myself a lot! I don't know if my favorite is Valkyrie 3, Monody, or Serenity. It's hard to pick one favorite Laura Brehm song.

Serenity is pretty great, too. The thing is, Monody, Valkyrie, and Serenity are all sort of in different styles, so it's hard to say which is the best.
