the core for the jet made sense but this core doesn't look right to be the centre, it looks like it should be one of the solo units that come in the box.
I'm thinking of finally getting into these. Any recommendation on what set or couple of sets I should get first to see if I really like them? Anything you'd call the best or most fun so far?
Snap ships now have mechs and ground vehicles'. I'm not sure I would compare them but maybe. Snap Ships are a lot more lego like. These diaclones are lot more limited but a lot more detailed. Yeah the price is a lot better for snap ships. If you wait for a sale you could probably buy the entire snap ship line for the same cost of this one diaclone. I bought their biggest ship for $10 on sale.
Thar core is so wrong for the rest of the set in my opinion. It's decidedly infantry, while a lot of these modes would look better with a more vehicular canopy and no distinct head.
Love how the canons looked on Diabattler--still the only one I ever got. I need to change that!
