You can use exactly the same technique, just make it longer, maybe adjust the hip area, add 1 cm both left and right is normally a fit, 2 cm would be comfy. Have fun 🥰

You made a very nice vest, but you could have sewed the armholes with the sewing machine through the open gap at the hem.

yes I agree with you, if you have basic sewing skills, you can do that way, it is actually a easier method, I used in my new gloves video. My consideration was, for absolute beginners, use sewing machine to sew round shape could be a big challenge, trying to introduce different methods for both beginners and advanced audiences. ☺️
