As a cat owner, I can confirm, if too much stink, there was not enough litter. Litter keeps the stink away. Always add the maximum amount to a litter box. There is never too much. Cause cat sh1t stinks. (and be sure to scoop ASAP, too much poop is never a good thing, there is never enough litter to get rid of the stink of a massive pile)
