Hey you two! How goes it? That box of paper bags. Have you ever seen a floor done with them? I did it in my computer room. It was time-consuming put so worth it. The bags are cut in the long strips, laid like wood flooring, and then sealed with epoxy resin. I did 4 coats of resin, letting it dry between applications. Honest to God, it looks like hardwood and has held up for almost a decade now.

Awesome finds. Those watercolor paintings are definitely worth more than 20 bucks. The papers in the folio you stabbed are linen art papers and are quite pricy lol. I think you should get the artwork looked at. The one priced at 2500 goes with the other one from the museum. I imagine it would be around the same price. Also the magazines could be worth some money. Keep up the great videos 😊

The duck water colors would do well at The Waterfowl Festival in Easton Maryland,it used to be in October this year it’s in November the weekend of 10-12th. I used to work at the Radio Shack in Easton in the early 1990s and this festival brought a lot of people and money in.

It's a mirrored display case, it's funny how you don't put prices on some things that have value, those paint brushes that are called Purdy, those are good brushes probably the most expensive painting brushes you can buy & they are vantastic to paint with. About $20-$30 each. You better check on the prices of the art supplies. Art supplies are very expense.

    • @AliJoy66

They asked if "anyone in comments" knew anything about any of the art supplies, sewing supplies, fabrics, anything they pulled out that anyone knows anything about, or what the values might potentially be, to please let them know in the comments, so ty for letting them know about the paint brushes, and art supplies, I'm sure they greatly appreciated knowing those were worth more than a few cents, or yard sale, they could actually make a good profit offmost of the art supplies and fabric and sewing supplies!! Both are high demand especially these days with so many artists and up and coming designers, seamstress/tailors to be and so many having UA-cam channels as well!! Any and all information is welcomed and truly helpful, especially when it's specific items they might not be familiar or know of at all!!

In answer to your question, yes, take a moment to look at the brands & materials. Most of the names I saw were high dollar. There are Michaels art supplies, and there are stores that sell high end supplies. You appear to have a locker full of the latter.

I love your videos and finds… gotta be honest… it’s hard to see all of the art supplies go to the grave. The reason us artists are starving is because art supplies are crazy expensive! It’s crazy that real art is appreciated most by other artists. We are lucky to sell art for cost of materials which does not include our time and talent.

I wonder if he was an art dealer and his wife is that artist? Have you looked her up? Curious. Yes, the box of you spanked was water color paper and judging by the rough edges hand made which means expensive. The brass pieces are like decorations for the corners or middle of frames. Just kinda ups the look of certain pieces.

a watercolor block like that can run $60-80 new. Large watercolor paper like in the folder holder runs $5-15 a sheet and the very large watercolor paper from the first video from this locker is custom order stuff which is why there was so much of it - there was most likely a minimum required purchase amount. Definitely do your research on that and try not to touch its surface because the oils on your skin can actually affect the paper's ability to absorb watercolor paints. Good find

The Magazine in your hand, @30:52 of the vid, has a picture of Nolan Ryan. Along with the ticket stub and the boxes from Texas, makes me think this person was from there. Which would make sense of the framed autographed piece. And appears they used to do some of their own framing. Maybe would explain some of the glass. A lot of awesome finds for sure. 👍
