Question #12 Favourite Book to Film Adaptation -- I had the sense you might have been struggling to remember "The Quiet Girl", but I haven't seen "A Gentleman in Moscow" so it's probably unfair of me to judge between the two.
I haven't done this tag yet if I even get to it, but I would have HoFaS in the biggest surprise because especially compared to HoSaB...it was quite entertaining lolol
She’s wonderful!! I think I’ll do a “year with…” Edith Wharton next year like I’m doing with Austen. Maybe I can read the biography I picked up a couple of months ago as prep.
@@NerdyNurseReads I have utterly failed my Austen plan. I've been too distracted by non-fiction. But I'd like to read some Wharton. That biography is supposed to be good.
@@NerdyNurseReads I've only ever read a collection of Edith Wharton's short stories, which included a couple of ghost stories as I recall, so I think she'd be a great choice for a closer look next year, as I'd like to learn more about her and her writings.
I vote you drop all books and return to the Realm of the Elderings!!
I’m back aboard the Ship of Destiny!!!
Make sure to talk to a Hobb stan at the end of ship of destiny, trying to be vague 😅
Ok I’ll circle back when I’m done.
the new dog's name reminds of that great song "What's it all about Alfie" What's it all about Alien doesn't sound nearly as good⚛😀❤
I really need to learn this song so I can sing it to him!
i also am still mad about that crescent city black hole lol
That whole book was a disappointment. She should have listened to her fans. They had more entertaining (and plausible) plots
the neil gaiman books are so beautiful!!
Riiiiight!!! They really do make beautiful editions

Yessssss!!!!! The Quiet Girl was so good! I need to keep track of the movies/shows I watch so I don’t forget things! Perhaps I need a new journal 🤔

Read House of Mirth, you’ll love it!
@@NerdyNurseReads "House of Mirth"? Sounds a little like "Animal House" ca. 1905. But thanks for the recommendation. I'll track me down a copy.
The Tawny Man trilogy is going to destroy you 😭
Oh no!!! I’m scared
