- Propagation: Paradise Hotel is extremely scary and stressful. Enjoy as I try to play it without having a heart attack.

Holy shit.. I couldn't handle this myself. It's a shame you didn't record full length videos of this one, I'd be watching! 👁👄👁
I did on my channel.
You were not kidding about that sound design. That thunder storm in the background and the creaky doors the music and other ambient sounds , ooze atmosphere!
Haha dude what a great video, had me laughing all the way! Thanks for putting this one in my radar!
I like the horror premise of it, I played one of the Propagation VR arcade games. Was under a subway and stuck in one place shooting waves of… zombies, things, spiders. It was fun.
Hopefully nobody is giving you chaff for sounding monotone, it’s hard to really sound scared without reaching a point of breaking down or genuinely having a panic attack.
I feel the fear you had in the gameplay, I can’t wait to get the game myself so I can either play like you, cool-headed but scared shitless, or like SovietWomble, and have a mental breakdown and cry in the ventilation shaft.
It's great you included so much gameplay with your reactions. You were clearly having a terrifying time!
This might be one of the few zombie games I get. The only others are the resident evil games, and Dead Rising.
Edit:you can probably count cataclysm dark days ahead as a zombie game, but due to all the Lovecraftian and extra dimensional stuff I don’t know if that quite counts.
Its pretty scary
This looks more interesting than I was expecting! The bullet spongeyness would likely bug me (it felt like they needed nearly a full magazine when watching ya) but the game looks fun.
On normal difficulty, took about 4 handgun headshots to take out the normal zombies, or one shotgun to head
@@esvbanARPGs Ah okay, that's not too bad then.
@@davidchandler5432 yea you can also shoot off their limbs, the zombies can still slowly crawl around and bite you though.
@@davidchandler5432 not to mention it harkens back to the old resident evil games (and the remakes)
Nice Vid! Keep up the great work!
Part of the issue you mentioned with the voice acting is also an issue with voice direction and script writing. The guy who was in charge needed to communicate to the voice actor the desperation of saving someone and escaping monsters just seconds earlier instead of a dispassionate "Hello by the way." This happens when the voice actor doesn't have the context explained to him.
Propagation was already so scary to me but this looks genuinely terrifying knowing downed zombies aren't truly dead with the pistol.
This was a nice game. I had already played resident evil games before the VR mods came out so was cool to experience a horror game like this unspoiled
The zombie's design is definitely horrifying in vr
Looks really good will be getting for PSVR2......
Looks pretty scary. Thanks for sharing.
I think i will pass on this one 💀
Damn that looks awsome!
The dude in the suit's dialogue has meme potential hahah
How about streaming this game? looks awesome !
I must say the zombies take way too many bullets and would destroy my immersion. I would rather have them take much less damage but have much less ammo available instead
My thoughts exactly. The way Resident Evil does it is a top notch. Shooting a whole clip to a zombie is frustrating and looks like the combat ends up too often at healing yourself. Zombies seems to be too fast compared what it takes to put them down.
@@r4ywen698 yeah i dont mind them taking a lot of pullets to the body but if its a clean headshot that should be enough
It's a DEAD zombie. Why would just a few bullets stop it?
Looks pretty good! Have you played Resident Evil 7 in VR? For me that's still the scariest. I can't go back to flat horror games after that.
Yeah I played it. was pretty scary this game scares me more for some reason though
Did you beat it?
Not yet. Still trying to find the balls to get back in to it.
What headset did you play this in? Seems like too many dark areas for the quest 2s lcd.
I used a Valve Index
I like this game too but... what do you think about automaticaly closing doors? It was the most scary thing I've seen in this game - just joking. :))
There were a few times it would make me thing someone was in the room when the door closed behind me.
Too much stress 🫤
yup we can hear the scary. The thomping is very effective.... Why did you look back T0T
I ran out of ammo a fair way in and will probably need to restart because I keep getting killed very quickly. Hot tip: conserve ammo. Great game.
Judging by how ineffective the pistol is I assumed the game devs probably want you running away rather than fighting.
I made it about 30 minutes into this game. Right after you get the gun, I walked through a few doors, and decided to quit. Too stressful for me. Horror games mess me up in VR but dont affect me in flat mode.
What's the game name
@@aidenabraham3042 propagation vr hotel paradise
@@aidenabraham3042 It's in description. The name is Propagation: Paradise Hotel
haha games are so much scarier in VR
And I thought "Jeff" was scary! This is an absolute pass for me! 💀 but the game looks awesome... for all those sadomasochists out there! 🤣
My thoughts exactly 😅 just finished alyx for the first time and after Jeff I've discovered VR horror isn't for me lol
Thank you for your service, but that's a big fat nope from me *lol*! I'm not into scarry games.
Lol
Most enthusiastic "run" ever
Yeah because everyone walks slowly away from scary shit. LOL if that's their run then your character must be 90 years old.
Literally the start of the vid had me stressing so hard so yeah i will not be buying this game
There is a small thing about this game. basically the zombies kinda "come back to life" sometimes. It's a bug when you are transitioning between areas, it basically revives previously dead zombies, so you lose the sense of progression. This might not sound like a big deal, but it completely killed this game for me because it made for some really cheap scary moments
