Ah! I knew this music was used in Star Ocean 2, I didn't know it was used in Valkyrie Profile too! I have the game but I've yet to play it, thanks for uploading this song.
It's actually used in almost every Tri-Ace special dungeon.... usually against the Superboss Ethereal/Iseria Queen. All the Valkyrie Profiles, all the later Star Oceans, Radiata Stories, not sure what else. Valkyrie Profile 1 was the first though.
@@vDorgengoa Actually, Star Ocean 2 was the first, since it released the year before Valkyrie Profile. Otherwise, spot-on. Also kudos for remembering Radiata Stories, hahah. Since Valkyrie Elysium was announced, I think we can expect to hear this theme yet again!
@@vDorgengoa I didn't finish Radiata, but I clearly remember kicking a dwarf and pissing him off to where he decided to fight me. And I died, lmao. I loved how you could just be an asshole to anyone you wanted in that game I've never actually played a Valkyrie Profile game and sadly don't have any Sony consoles to play the older ones on. But I am a longtime Star Ocean fan, so I'm pretty excited for Divine Force (though with tempered expectations, for obvious reasons).

they did use it in valkyrie profile tho, it plays during the gabriel celeste battle (idk about iseria queen, i havent made it that far yet, I literally just beat gabriel)

Andres Carrero Cardenas Star Ocean games have a lot of cameos and references to Valkyrie Profile (also from developer Tri-Ace) and it's the same composer too, so yeah. Star ocean 3 even had bosses that were characters from this game.
