This Year's Potato Harvest 2022

- I recently harvested our potatoes for the year. The harvest went really well and we have a lot of good looking potatoes. This year we grew a blue, red, and russet variety. Over the last few years I have just dug the potatoes by hand as an excuse to slow down and become familiar with the soil and plants and bugs in my garden. I hope you enjoy.

Your potatoes look great, so does your soil. My potatoes did just fine this year. Ordinary harvest of medium red and also white potatoes. We had mashed potatoes with dinner tonight! I dug mine in August, then replanted

that's so many potatoes, i'd love to try them next year because the surprise of it does genuinely look like fun. now that you got those harvested, i do hope you get good rain now, because we went with over two months with barely any rain this summer and now the least of the many damaging thing it's done is make all the autumn foliage happen two-three weeks early.
also hilarious that i just bought a Stephania Erecta yesterday, literally jokingly called a potato, and you release this the same day
What a fun plant. Maybe I need to get one of those. It is funny how things line up sometimes. I'm pretty happy about my potato harvest. but it can be disappointing some years too. All in all potatoes can be pretty forgiving though. I'm hoping for rain. I'm starting to see some in the 10 day forecast here, but I'll feel better when it actually falls.

There is something about a good baked potato. Simple filling and satisfying.
Because of the drought and heat, my garden didn't do too well. Although it did produce a lot of zucchinis.

Thanks. I don't have a much from my wetlands. I'm learning about what I can do with cat tails and devil's club. Maybe I'll do some videos when I know more about what I'm doing.
