I miss the days when the Pro Bowl was played AFTER the Super Bowl. It was almost like a farewell party for the NFL season, and the Super Bowl teams were represented, too, so it actually felt like the best of the best.
“Did you see what Johnson did? He just dropped the football in the end zone. What a classy act by this young receiver.” 😂😂😂😂 That comment didn’t age well.
I miss the days when players actually gave a damn during the Pro Bowl, and also bothered to show up for it, instead of having 5th alternates playing when they have no right being in a Pro Bowl at all.
To be fair, the Pro Bowl used to be two weeks after the super bowl. Now with it being the week before the big game it's just not feasible to expect the 44 best players from the two best teams to show up.
Well, moving it from Hawaii was a big turnoff for a lot of players. They need to move to back to after the Super Bowl and back to Hawaii. It was an incentive for a lot of players.
@@keatonstemler5092 I didn't know they moved it away from hawaii. That explains a lot. Give the hawaiians a football game! They're american too! That's not fair to the pro bowlers and that state.
Best Quarterback to Receiver tandem in NFL History!!! I don't believe any tandem will ever break Manning to Harrison records!!! Next closes tandem to them would be Montana to Rice I believe.
Indeed, I prefer the Superbowl after so many of the stars weren't missing the game!!! Waters down the game when some of the better players are missing the game.
Barry Sanders Alexander first 3 seasons played every game (48 games) and tallied 2,869 yards. Zeke so far through 3 seasons. (40 games) 4,048 yards. Stats don’t lie. Zeke just began eating
@@iraqlobster1850 First, Shaun Alexander most certainly was good. He was one of the best running backs of the 2000s. Second, I like how you conveniently left out multiple stats... Alexander was the second option at RB behind Ricky Watters in 2000, which only allowed him to start one game and receive just 64 carries on the year. Elliott has 200 more carries - 868 to 668 - in his first three seasons than Alexander did in his first three, as well as 11 more starts - 40 to 29. Despite the huge gap in carries, Alexander had 32 touchdowns in his first three seasons to Zeke's 28. With that being said, I don't think it's a stretch to say that, if Zeke continues at this pace for the rest of his career, he can easily blow past all of Alexander's career numbers, and can do it rather quickly as well.
I remember this game. This was the one pro bowl I watched completely because a lot of the players I loved were playing in it. I remember the pick 6 by Dre Bly and I I remember the post corner route by Derrick Mason. That route became my favorite route. Nostalgia
Don’t let this distract from the fact that Lighting McQueen blew a 2 lap lead in the Piston Cup and That the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead in Super Bowl LI and that Seattle threw the ball
Rowdy Jr. I feel u bruh I miss those days too. It was AJ smith who always fucked us over and traded or let go of players he’s the one who got rid of Brees after he had that shoulder injury then he goes to NO and gets his first ring a few years later. Smh
I miss it man, hell it may have been the same year I was born but I’ve always been so interested in older football and getting hype as a little kid for these games, now it’s just 2 hand touch
Compare this game to the sham of game that was played yesterday. Night and day. Back then, players felt a sense of duty to try hard to win, both for themselves and the fans in the stadium. They were actually honored to play in the Pro Bowl. Yesterday's game was absolutely shameful and the league and the players should be thoroughly embarrassed.
Manning took a bad sack but with three minutes left he reversed that 10 point deficit better than anyone. Too bad that idiot kicker never could make a clutch shot
Manning also threw two picks returned for TDs late in the game that put the AFC in the position it was in. Manning was the single biggest reason the AFC lost the game.
This is so awesome! This was back when the Pro Bowl actually meant something and players actually gave it a 110%! Not like today's pro bowl where everyone is just sort of going through the motions.
Everything about the NFL was superior in this era. The personalities, the rivalries, the hits, the running game. And even the level of talent seemed better than we see today. This game displayed all of that. Just look how many HOFers were in this game alone.
So many amazing Ravens players. Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Jamal Lewis, Todd Heap and Jonathan Ogden. Then players that went to the ravens later on in their career, Derrick Mason, Steve McNair, and Anquan Bolden. I miss the old Baltimore Ravens
God damn first highlight out of the wishbone now you know we going back lmao. Chad with the 90 yarder off the rip man he had some crazy separation on that play and even had time to come back for it. Phenomenon play fake set it up everyone bit on Jamal.

It’s badass just watching this and hearing the players in this pro bowl, so many legends
Champ Bailey was all over the place swatting every pass that came his way. Beast
First ballot hall of famer this year
Lol throwback to when the players actually tried in the pro bowl
And when refs didn't signal the play dead half a second after contact with the runner.
