I know I’m late here but hopefully someone can answer my question… how do you get it to not scatter in a big area when using dab because in my settings scattering is grayed out and all my brushes seem to be covering a big square area instead of exactly where I click

Make sure all the history brush settings ( not just scattering)are turned off. Make sure spacing is 1%. See if that works
