Saint John Bosco made at least a hundred prophecies that were fulfilled: the Franco-Prussian War, World War I, the future of his Salesian missions in South America and the future of countless people, including the year of their death. Being a true visionary who saw Our Lady regularly, he knew a false prophet when he saw one. Don Bosco was always ready to challenge these liars. As it says in the Gospel of Matthew: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves" (Matt. 7:15). Shockingly, on this occasion, it was a nun who had entered his Salesian convent: the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, which had just started. My mother is a Protestant - Assembly of God (Pentecostal) and now attends a Vineyard Church. They seem to be obsessed with healings and prophecies. I believe in charismatic gifts but they are often idols. Without the sacraments I think people grasp at Christ through these other “gifts”. I’ve seen well intentioned people become wolves without really knowing it. We are all so easily deceived. I have been so many times. I feel like God has been squeezing the pride out of me lately realizing this. I trust the Catholic Church and all it says through Christ our Lord.
I feel a similar way, I just entered The Church this past Easter. My mom is/ I grew up Seventh-Day Adventist and they unfortunately have alot of blatantly false history and false prophesies from their professed prophetess Ellen G White. Also very confused misconceptions about very basic Catholic teachings, so much so that it seems they never research anything within its context or with any prinary sources, viewing obscure articles as official Catholic teaching and throwing out false acusations left and right. My mother didn't even believe me when I tried to tell her that Catholics hold mass everyday.
I read somewhere that many "weird" u heavenly things happen in those type of "church services" because they open the other to good and bad ignorantly. Be careful.

My mother was protestant for 70 years. She started praying the rosary, and within the year, began to attend RCIA classes. A year ago this Easter, she entered the Catholic Church. Introduce the Holy Rosary to someone and you introduce them to Christ by way of His holy mother.

This nun displayed clear signs of possession. Knowing other thoughts, levitating, speaking other languages. And most importantly disobedience.

If someone is getting a lot of attention for claiming to have visions, ask the bishop in their diocese. He will investigate, or if he has done so already, read his public statement of the results. Follow what he says. Some people are claiming to have visions to get attention.
If you are on your knees in prayer daily praying at minimum an hour and have prayed for discernment the Holy Spirit is quick to identify false prophets. Unfortunately many Bishops are asleep in the world. God says the closer you draw to me the closer I draw to you, My local Bishop has been in agreeance with ROCK concerts, Hindu peace ceremonies and Couples concerts in our Sacred Heart Cathedral, so sadly at 66, I have to travel 3 hrs every Sunday for a Holy Catholic REVERANT Mass.❤

I have found that, for discerning spirits and "visionaries", the talk given by Fr. John Hardon, S.J. gave on "Visions and visionaries." For sure, the vast majority of seers and visionaries are false.
Pride comment before the fall, St John Bosco help us to guard our hearts and be vigilant against the enemy.

There are many like that nowadays. Bishops renounce them, but that information is not being shared with the public and those people go to UA-cam and share their “visions”. Gisela Cardia, Fr Rodrigue, Divine Mercy mission etc. All denounced by their bishops.
Nowadays, it takes more than that. We have Satanists walking around in mitres, and getting away with it because people do not know how to discern.

I believe Fr John Mary at the Mission of Divine Mercy in Texas to be authentic! Makes perfect sense when we see the wolves in sheep's clothing allowing heresies to be spread amongst the faithful. "The sheep will be scattered."
@@HanorahDuggan It seems that the Bishop of San Antonio just revoked his approval of Fr John and the Mission of Divine Mercy last month for calling the Pope a usurper three times. He was approved for about 14 years, but recently he crossed the line. Even after a meeting and some prayer, he decided to continue to denounce the Pope as a usurper and cause confusion and dissension.
Seems the Mission in Texas is doing the scattering. But the faithful sheep know better than to listen to the ramblings of a false visionary

How is it nonsense, it has not been nothing but recommended from the church and you say such things. Luisa has been proclaimed servant of God by the Holy Church, which is just a few steps earlier from being proclaimed Saint. I suggest that you research more about that, the 24 hours of the Passion is a beautiful book to read for a catholic.

In Medjugorje there are constant conversions. When something is not from God there is the opposite!! Any Apparition that is false will bear bad fruit. We need to ask for the gift of discernment.... The devil knows that many are being converted by going to Medjugorje. Why doubt it's validity.

Some priests are unjustly reproved.... your logic may apply if the church hierarchy was uncorrupted and sincere, but we have ample evidence to prove that that isn't the case in this current scenario....heretics like Fr Martin are promoted and faithful traditional priests have to face punishments for upholding authentic catholic teaching.

The negative signs and details of the false prophet in this story find their antithesis when compared to the Mission of Divine Mercy and Sr Amapola. I’ve observed them for years and I have never known Sister Amapola to be fond of attention. In fact, she is quiet and prefers to be hidden and recollected in prayer. She has offered her life as a sacrifice for the salvation of sinners and I believe she is receiving authentic messages because of their patience and joyful acceptance of the suffering they endure for the Church. Since the name of the good sister is being brought up, I cannot in good conscience be silent and let this go unanswered.
