A good tip if you have slippery hair, or your bobby pins always fall out:
Put your bobby pins on a paper towel and spray hair spray or any hair product that can be sticky or holds your hair in place

Do cat ears closer to your bangs or face and in the back do a hair bow so your hair looks like a cat with a bow on its head it would be adorable
She doesn't have bangs, bangs are when u have a fringe going straight across ur forehead going down to ur eyebrows. And clearly u can see she doesn't have bangs. Lol wow that was long. No hate plz. XD

Is there anyway to do this without bobby pins? They don't work well in my hair... :/

You could try using just plain hair clips, not sure how well they'd hold but you could give it a go.
Also if your problem with bobby pins is that they don't hold right, make sure you pin them in with the bumpy side underneath, and try hairspraying them to make them a bit stickier before you slide them into your hair.
