- Carp Fishing. The Gardner Tackle Team Social
Gardner Tackle recently held their annual social at Carpe Vivre, Lac Baleine - France, for some of the UK staff members and team representatives from the UK, France and Belgium. A great weeks carp fishing was had by all with fish to 51lbs and multiple 40's.
We spend some time with Dave Lane and others from the european team, finding out about their approach, tactics, defeats and victories.

Gardner tackle have been going for decades. Their baiting needles were always the best
Should of put laney in the thumb nail I would of clicked twice as fast 😂😉
Great vlog love fishing France 🇫🇷 been carping over 35 years used and still do heaps of Gardner tackle 🤛
No way you got laney over the border 👏👏
Great video as always. Nice to see John Llewellyn. A great angler (an not a bad fencer at all..😄). It was a pleasure fishing with him near Metz (not so) many years ago. Cheers Lads 👋
good to see Laney on u tube it's been too long Dave we used to get a vid at least one a month please come back
First Gardner video I’ve watched I’m now off too take a look at the others! Great video guys 🙌
Awesome 👌
Thanks for the kind words Josh - we have new film ideas in the pipeline. The recent 24 with Darren Belton is well worth a watch and we will be filming a follow-up with Darren in November.
Really nice edit.
It amazes me that anyone can say 11kg of bait isn’t a lot 😳 I know it’s a different ball game abroad but holy shit!!
Laney is such a great addition to the Gardner team. If laney’s in a vid, you watch it. 👌
Nice solar Tackle camo chair dave Lane 😮don't GARDNER Tackle do chair's then...?
I thought dave lane was with solar?? Maybe he's with em all!
I am mate, Solar for hardwear and Gardner for terminal stuff. works very well 🙂
@@davelane1996 you will endorse anyone's products if it means you not getting a proper job you dosser
Can you hire this lake out
Hi Neil - Here is the link to the Carpe Vivre website - carpe-vivre.com/en/
Tbh that lake looks unfishable ! Water level down too much, that can`t be good for the fish catching them like that?
Sadly its mainly about the money, less about anything else.
Although the level was a fair bit lower than normal, as it is everywhere, the venue has plenty of depth and is easily able to cope. Even with the lower levels most of the swims had twice the depth I'm usually fishing in.
id ban vans makes fishing look a joke if ya canny sleep in a tent or on the ground then ya should no be on a bank carping its part of the RITUAL. LAZY ANGLERS NA MOVE ON
Soon as I seen Laney I stopped watching ,still using ten ounce leads is he ??
Some kind of dummy ain’t ya bruv?
@@Niiiiiiiiiii said the idiot who can't speak English....and yes Laney is a catch at all cost work shy idiot..will do and say anything as long as he can keep fishing with his 10oz leads discusting angler,I have boycott Gardner tackle when they employed him...can't stand the bloke, solar tackle don't get my money either..
Carps
Well done
Not massively impressive viewing. Free weeks fishing to give
Plugs for both the owners venues. Yawn.
Welcome to civilisation.
@@Smudgie if that's civilisation I'll stay out in the Bush. Massively uninspiring fishing on yet another commercial muddy puddle French water
@@tardis9326 Well it is often the only way some people get the chance of catching such fish. They go there in the knowledge that they will be safe, helped and catered for without forever looking over their shoulder. AND hve a good chance of catching the fish of their dreams. I fish public lakes and rivers in France. I have done it for a very long time and it is NOT easy. Especially considering the often muddy conditions and the amount of bait and equipment you have to schlepp! Some day I will be too old for the "Bush" and I will be grateful for such places to wet a line.
@@Smudgie yes I am the same with regard to the public water fishing in Europe. Maybe when I am old I will consider something else, very doubtful. But today is not that day.
